OutsideRzAcE Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Marvin Lewis and Mike Tomlin are taking turns making stupid decisions. With the game on the line and under 4 minutes to go, Lewis tries a 56 yard FG. In the same situation, but with under 2 minutes to go, Tomlin tries a 53 yarder.
Dunno Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Well, I am happy with the result of the Cin @ Pit game so the day is off to a good start.
Dunno Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 What happened to Mark Herzlich, the LB from BC the Ravens were supposed to sign as UDFA, but later signed with the Giants. Is he still with the Giants?
ForceEight Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 What happened to Mark Herzlich, the LB from BC the Ravens were supposed to sign as UDFA, but later signed with the Giants. Is he still with the Giants? He is. Not a starter. I know he's loose with the ball, but Jacoby Jones is probably my favorite of our receivers.
papasmurfbell Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Well, I am happy with the result of the Cin @ Pit game so the day is off to a good start. You wanted the squealers to win. Cincy can take the div next week with a win if the Ravens screw up today. BTW Where are all the people who thought Cincy would suck this yr?
thundercleetz Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 I didn't pick the Bengals to get into the playoffs, but that was more me not expecting the Steelers to suck this much than me thinking the Bengals sucked. Ravens look good early! Getting RR touches early and executing on both sides of the ball. Lets blow the Giants out!

thundercleetz Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Boldin in the slot, RR getting touches, slants, crossing routes, back shoulder throws... Has the Ravens offense ever done this before?
Dunno Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Wow! This actually looks like an offense from this century!
ForceEight Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 I'm actually happy that that was overturned. This would be a sorry sport to watch if we called that a touchdown.
thundercleetz Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Terrible call. Jones had possession he made a move to extend the ball further. Should have been a TD. Perriera said it best: this crew was told they shouldn't have called a TD on a similar play earlier in the year. Simple case of this crew overreacting.
ForceEight Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Reacting correctly, I think. Sorry, I know I'm the downer here, but there's just no way that's a legitimate touchdown. You have to actually catch the ball to call it a catch.
thundercleetz Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 No point in crying over spilled milk we can agree to disagree. TOUCHDOWN Ravens!!!!!!!
Dunno Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Why not run it twice going for it on 4th? It's a 3 possesion lead 24 - 7 and if you fail you give them the ball at what? The 5 yard line? 27 -7 is still a 3 possesion lead. I would have gone for it. Still, they are playing amazing.
oldno82 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 I'm really impressed by Pierce. I didn't know he was this good.
vmax Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 I think the G men get healthy now. WRONG!!!! It was nice seeing the Giants fans leaving at the start of the 4th quarter...they had that "Far Away" look.Poilte folks though...they were very quiet all game....
papasmurfbell Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Called that one wrong. How much does Peirce need to do to prove he can carry the team?
papasmurfbell Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 I was more than shocked. I expected NY to try. That CB they have sucks.
