IF he does, then the NFL, according to the rules in the CBA, has no choice but to suspend him and fine him for conduct detrimental to the league. This carries, in most caes, a two game suspension and fine. IF he has failed an NFL drug test and, they test him again and he fails, it is an automatic four game suspension, again, as outlined in the CBA. GOT IT? Just because something maybe be legal for the non-NFL person, does not mean they can take it. Even in Colorado where pot is legal, the police and EMS personell cannot use it,nor can doctors, nurses, etc. Every job has rules, prohibits the use of certain things that are perfectly legal for everyone who doesn't work at a particular place. Best case scenario is the elevator camera doesn't reveal Ray hitting her with an upper cut.and he receives probation before judgement.Worse case is the video reveals that he does hit her, then the state can raise the charge to 1st degree assault which can carry a 10 year jail term.Again, let's wait until the entire tape is released, because that tape that's out there really shows nothing. Legal weed will be he eventually, as soon as the state needs money. For the record I've never evened smoked it. I just think what a grown adult wants to do in his own home is his business. It is on the ballot again in Ore where it lost by very little in 2012, Alaska, Cal, Zona (Joe Arpio is gonna be pissed), Vermont, Mizou, NH, NJ, and Okl. That doesn't take into consideration states that have decriminalized. I think within 10 yrs 2/3 of the country will be legal and the feds will have dropped it from the schedule 1 classification. The officials drug their feet for 20 years and killed the biggest cash cow they had which is horse racing, md racing stinks compared to neighboring states of pa, del and wva. If I had billions of dollars I would love to add to that casino a new racetrack, arena, and hotel. It would be a huge complex that could raise the racing industry and make the state so much money. The greatness would be held there as well as casino. Now I read it's just a casino. In all my life I have known one member of my friends or family that has gone to a track to watch or gamble on the races. I have known plenty of people who wanted to go to the Preakness but that was just for the party. Actual interest in horse racing or gambling, no one I have ever known except for my brother who briefly thought he could beat the system when he was in his early 20s. That lasted a month or so. Seeing one awful injury and subsequent euthanasia was enough for me.Absolutely wrong, 's racing was alive and well til west va and Delaware passed their slots bills in the early 90s.They started to draw horsemen from New York down, then their purses started getting bigger from the revenue of slots. Then the dagger, Delaware and west va seen Maryland still dragging their feet and went to the md horsemen and said bring your horses to our tracks and they would provide free horse transportation to and from Delaware and Charlestown, Now you had 's horses leaving which in turn led to less horses running at laurel and Pimlico which in turn led to fewer fan turn out which in turn led to races with only 4 horses running, a horse gambler won't even bet a race with 4 horses running. Md used to race approximately 200 days a year, with the loss of horses and races it is down to 125 days a year. Pimlico used to open in March and run thru June. I'm pretty sure they don't open now til 2 weeks before the preakness. All this was done with just revenue from the slots. Charlestown and Delaware did not get table games til the 2000's. And by then the damage was done. Then throw Pennsylvania into the mix with gambling bills passed. And it's the demise of md racing. And as long as they have Pimlico standing, let's face it, it's an eye sore, and continue to try and run a successful preakness they will be embarrassed.
