  1. Yea I'm bummed about Suggs and I feel bad for him but the team can weather this. Offense is the clear concern. Trestman has to sort that shit show out.
  2. So not impressed with Trestman. Telegraph the run, telegraph the pass.
  3. This is as strange a schedule as I remember. At least the Bye is timed well.
  4. I like the move - he was playing out of his mind before he got hurt. Injury prone - yes, but I don't remember he being a penalty problem (at least no more than any corner is nowadays with the way the game is called)
  5. Looks like SF released him after they acquired Torrey Smith. This guy was a beast putting up 3 1000 yard seasons with a crappy Buffalo team before being traded to SF. I'm not sure why it didn't work out in SF, but this should be a guy we target. Fast guy who has a track record of producing. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/11458/stevie-johnson
  6. I remember him being pretty average. He talked like he was a top 10 corner but he sure didn't play like it.
  7. I think there is no doubt he plays next year. He is still one of the more dynamic returners in the league.
  8. I will really miss Jacoby. With Torrey possibly on his way out I thought we would keep him as another deep threat option. He had a bad year as a receiver but that could have been an aberration. With the other young recievers we have I guess I can't fault the Ravens for this move. I will always remember the plays he made in that SB run and the great humility he showed after getting passed up for the SB MVP.
  9. Thanks guys! Sorry I missed this post.
  10. Yea that was weird....I guess they aren't doing one this year?
  11. unbelievable...they didn't even fake the run
  12. Anyone else find it weird how Adnan near flipped out at Sara when she said she was starting to believe he was innocent because he was simply "too nice a guy". Almost like he felt guilty that she started that she was starting believe in him.
  13. I figured the Pats would win in easier fashion than they did last week, but still I was expecting a better defensive effort from Chuck's boys against the Pats. They've shut down Gronk and noone else.
  14. I think Adnan is guilty, but the State just did a crap job gathering evidence/putting a case together against him. As the lady says in the last episode - there are just too many things you have to chalk up to bad luck to believe Adnan is innocent.
  15. If Kubiak wasn't taking the job he would have announced it already. His silence is deafening.
  16. He's right about the tuck rule. That was a joke.
  17. Lebeau was great but didn't know when to call it quits....I think Tomlin and the Steelers brass wanted him out years ago but didn't want to be seen as pushing the old geezer out the door. They finally got sick of waiting.
  18. I gotta think Denver will have their eye on a more splashy hire. It's not like they necessarily need an offensive specialist like Chicago. Still - I am worried.
  19. Does anyone think the Denver opening will change things for Kubiak?
  20. Ditto - This is unexpected.
  21. Good post. I am conflicted on Pees. He does have some creativity but I am so sick of his defenses blowing games. The lack of adjustments yesterday were maddening. I'm not sure how much of an impact he even has on the D - when his playmakers aren't making plays the D is garbage.
  22. Torrey smith: the gift and the curse
  23. Man never seen so many almost fumbles....we need to turn them over here
  24. Not a big deal...it's not like the colts are playing the ravens
