  1. Thank you, and i'm sure you're right.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=S6qD-Io2l1Y Marvel may have hit another home run with this one. The trailer looks awesome. The first Cap was one of my favorite Superhero movies along with Avengers and Batman Dark Knight. Let's hope the 2nd one lives up to the hype.
  3. You're a racist tool Oldschool, and I don't have the time or patience for you. The guts or brains to debate you? Your points are so backwards they debate themselves. Do not mistake my annoyance with you with cowardice. I blocked you because I can't stand your bigoted racist babbling. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and that's fine, but I come to this site to talk football not to read your subtle racists digs at Caldwell's intelligence or not so sublte racist posts calling Castillo "Taco". You call me a troll but I've been posting with many here for 13 years and my reputation speaks for itself. You show up for a few months and have already had it out with half the ER community. I tried to block you because it seemed like the simplest way to be rid of you. Unfortunately I could still see too much of your activity on this board so I guess it's back to just glazing past your posts until the day you piss off one too many people on here and get booted. Look at your history..it's only a matter of time. Oh and yes I did down vote some your posts...because that's what I do when I read a stupid post. It just so happens your percentage of stupid posts is much higher than anyone else's. Either stop posting dumb shit or get used to it. You want to get back at me by down voting every one my posts then knock yourself out...you're only proving your lack of maturity.
  4. Just for some bye week fun. You can change your picks as the season wears on. I've been going back and forth on this. Right now i'm feeling more optimistic about this team than I did before the loss to Pitt. I think the Oline is coming together and that has been the biggest culprit in this slow start. Their performance (especially pass blocking) against a Steelers D that has been good all season is being largely overlooked. 9 Nov 3 4:25PMEST * AT Browns - W (no Hoyer no problem) 10 Nov 10 1:00PMEST * Bengals - W (I might change this depending how they look after the Browns game) 11 Nov 17 1:00PMEST * AT Bears - W (no Cutler, no Briggs) 12 Nov 24 1:00PMEST * Jets - W (Geno looks good for a rook but he's not ready for M&T) 13 Nov 28 8:30PMEST ' Steelers -W (thursday night at home, advantage ravens) 14 Dec 8 1:00PMEST ) Vikings - W (a mess of a team) 15 Dec 16 8:40PMEST + AT Lions - L (Jimmy Smith on Calvin Johnson ...see last preseason) 16 Dec 22 8:30PMEST ' Patriots - W (Flacco's home away from home, no Wilfork, no Mayo) 17 Dec 29 1:00PMEST * AT Bengals - L (Not a chance in Cinci)
  5. Circle the Cinci game November 10th at home. I think we will beat the browns coming out of the bye so IMO Cinci at home is the put up or shut up game. If they win that game there is some hope for the 6 seed, which i think is our only realistic path to the playoffs the way Cinci is playing.
  6. I don't get why are we looking at running backs when the issue is clearly the Oline. This doesn't make sense to me unless Pierce is so banged up that he needs to sit for a couple of weeks.
  7. Points per game wise I think the D is ranked 11th and that includes the beatdown in Denver where the D was definitely at a huge disadvantage. I think they are much improved over 2012. The biggest concerns for me with the D is their tendency to wilt in the 4th quarter and their inability to generate turnovers as well as they have in the past.
  8. Given how crappy our line has been I think Joe has been great this season. What's funny is that even though the line improved during the Steelers game, you could see he was still jumpy and sensitive to perceived pressure. What the Ravens really need is great pass protection against Cleveland...get Joe believing in his Oline again. If we do that hopefully Joe will trust the Oline enough during the Cinci game to give us a chance.
  9. You're welcome. I've learned along time go to tailor my conversation to the age level of my audience. BTW you can try, but I don't think you can get any slower and simple. Have a nice life OS. I can't read your posts anymore..you've already cost me too many brain cells.
  10. Yea my thoughts exactly. Plus it appears the worst is over as far as the tight dnd issues at the beginning of the season. Clark and Dickson are making contributions
  11. I just don't think the team is that good right now, but not because of any type of emotional letdown. We have a lot of young players and a lot of guys period that haven't played together. I was optimistic this team would gel by the 3rd game, and though it's taking much longer I think it's going to happen soon. I saw signs in the Pittsburgh game that the offense is starting to come around. The Oline stopped the bleeding and actually showed improvement in both pass protection and rush offense. They sustained drives. The only thing they didn't do is punch it in the endzone when they got close. I see a much improved team coming out of the bye...unfortunately I think it might be too little too late in terms of a playoff spot.
  12. You are the worst poster in ExtremeRavens history. The worst.
  13. Well he gave them another 3 shots at the end zone in a game decided by 3 points. It ended up being pointless but it was still a good call.
  14. Ok...going for 2 would have been moot because the Steelers kicked a FG. They would have won by 2 instead of 3. Also the sense I got from the post game conference is that that Harbs did not call for that squibb by Tucker. That might have been an error on Tucker.
  15. You don't even understand the hypocrisy of your statements. You say I think i'm smarter than Harbs and Ozzie because I think Gino stinks. By your own logic, do you think you are smarter than Ozzie and Harbs about Caldwell? You want Cam back and think it was a mistake to replace him with Caldwell even though it led us to a SB....Ozzie, Harbs, and Biscuit don't agree, so I guess you think you're smarter than them? Caldy was a QB coach but gets no credit for the success of a QB. Meanwhile as an OC he gets all the blame for the Center. Makes perfect sense in Bigot land! Caldwell only became a HC because Dungy wanted to promote a black guy. Because he's certainly not smart enough to become a coach on his own right? That is possibly the most asinine thing I have ever read on this board. Do all owners let head coaches pick their own successors? I wonder if Billick chose Harbs to replace him on the Ravens? Oooh, and maybe he did and picked him because he wanted another white guy to coach after him!
  16. Oh lord...I couldn't stand Mattison's D. I don't think they are that bad. They need to bring it in tight games though..like they did against Miami. The last two weeks they have played OK, but they absolutely choked late in the 4Q when we needed them to make plays against GB and Pitt.
  17. Good riddance to McKinnie. I know depth is a concern but I don't know that I'd want Bryant out there even if Monroe goes down. You can't trust him to give consistent effort. Some times people just have to go and I believe this is one of those cases. If you can't at least try you shouldn't be on this roster.
  18. I didn't like the onside kick but I don't think it cost us the game. My beef was that if you're going to try something like that you better be damn sure your players can do something simple like stay onside - I hope that guy got an earful in film session today. The call certainly wasn't on par with the blunders against GB. Harbs also is not getting any credit for going for it on 4th and 1...didn't that QB sneak lead to a TD?
  19. What is not rational or intelligently objective about your anti Caldwell crusade is that you will not give Caldwell a fair shake, when his team's succeed it's in spite of him. When his team's struggle it's because of him. You blame Caldwell for current player's struggles (Gino blows, but it's all Caldwell's fault) while at the same time refusing to give him credit when his players have success. You have repeatedly said Caldwell's success in Indy was strictly because of Manning (so did he coach Manning up?). You also attribute his success last year as our offensive coordinator to a guy you champion, Cam Cameron, even though the offense was clearly inferior under Cam's direction in a much larger sample size. I also think it's a joke that you repeatedly question his intelligence, even though he has been in the coaching business 3 decades.
  20. This to me was the biggest disappointment from the game. The Steelers had backup tackles on what was already a poor Oline, and yet Suggs and Doom still could not get Rothlisberger on his ass enough. Not only that, but they couldn't stop the run either. After Lacy ran well for GB, now all of a sudden we have our run defense to be concerned about. If you think about it the Ravens have given up decent rushing yards in 3 of their last 4 games...all losses.
  21. This change was 3 games too late.
  22. LOL..I go from being the voice of pessimism to being overly optimistic in a few days! I haven't taken a look at the remaining schedule in order to put a prediction, but I guess my point is they will improve down the stretch, but not enough to make the playoffs. They should be set up nicely for next season though.
  23. Ngata is overrated..a few of us debated this earlier this season. He just doesn't have the consistent impact on the game he should for a guy making what he is making.
  24. 7-9, 8-8 this season. I think they will be decent towards the end of the season, but it will be too little too late. Some noticeable improvement from the Oline today. Flacco actually had time to take some shots.
  25. Saw the boys come into town with a police escort as I was driving through downtown Pittsburgh today.
