The "Raven Way", whatever that is, seems to have disappeared. Somehow how this Org needs to get its collective arse together and rekindle a winning formula for the next decade. Not sure the current cast and crew can figure it out but someone in the FO needs to get game and now. The screwing around since before the last SB win needs to go and a fresh, new approach to winning.

I got it - why not just have Tucker hit 10 FGs a game. That's 30 points. All we have to do is get 1 or 2 first downs; reach mid field; then hand the game over to Tucker.

Papa, I think the list of mishaps was meant for perspective. Regardless, we are stuck with Joe but that shouldn't keep us from building for the future. I'd like to see us draft a mid round guy and groom him for the future. Maybe there's another Dak or Brady waiting in the wings ?

Papa, if that's the case, why even have a team at all? We might as well become the Cleveland Browns.

It's almost like we are starting from scratch. And after watching the championship weekend games, you really see how far behind this team is. Ozzie and Co need to hit it out of the park for the next several years. Not sure he's still got it.

Max, I've noticed the same darn thing about our guys - leaving a comfortable cushion for years. Our D just doesn't have the pass rushers and CB/S's of the past. How in the world we finished 7th in total D is beyond me. I guess it speaks to the mediocrity of the NFL. Someone in this organization need to wake up, smell the java and fix the dang D and now. Not in the next couple years.

Because Harbs et al are going to tell us how close we are and what we need to do to win

The guy is a PLAYA ! He is, as one coach said, a Sunday player who just happens to play on Saturdays. Would love to have this guy.

So, as Andy Dufresne said in Shawshank, get busy living or get busy dying. And in the case of improving this team, it sounds like you favor the latter, right ?

Why put off what you can today instead of waiting for the rebuild. Who knows when that actually begins. In the meantime, you build with this best talent available now.

Rmaniac; don't see it happening either which is why, among other reasons, we are steeped in mediocrity for years. A guy like Peppers, much like Reed, Charles Woodson and Troy P, only comes along so often and you grab him. Instead, we will make the "safe" pick and much to everyone's chagrin end up with a decent 1st rounder like we've had the past decade. It's frustrating as heck watching a team with 0 guys that play like a Raven. It's time to take a leap, grow some and draft a stud for the future.
