  1. Tampa could defend the pass for many years with a safety that was not good in coverage. Lynch was a huge pin in that defense and that guy had troubles defending the pass. I think we'll be alright, having Ed Reed back there really helps things.
  2. 3 mol for a scrub that's over 30???? Why???
  3. Where's Boller??? Lol
  4. I would agree, let's go with the Rooks, Reed, and Boldin. He really hasn't done much in the NFL, nothing these young pups probably can't accomplish.
  5. McClain is no longer an option here, he's now a Cheif.
  6. Just center, Pitta and Dickson should hold down the fort nicely. Cmon Crav you have the biggest purple glasses of us all! I would think we should be up that Kreutz guy. Isn't he younger and better than Birk? I like Birk as a player, however we can't deny his play is slipping some. Is there anymore news on the rookie RB? Heard he was pounding it out against the vets at camp!
  7. Our most important pieces are here on offense, QB, RB, WR, LT. They're all young except for Boldin, and Boldin isn't using a walker yet! Defense, Best DT in the league, very good MLB (albeit old, however, it's Ray!), top 5 or 10 LB in Suggs, 2nd best Free Safety in the league. It sounds like the core group of people are in place! We're gonna be just fine!
  8. I think Croyle would probably be best, but as I would expect, there really isn't much to choose from.
  9. Wow, lack of faith! I believe in this team! Vets in the right positions, young amd hungry in others. We're not donewith acquisitions folks, there's no need to rush to get anybody right now, alot of the people available are of the same talent level.
  10. I guess we know a partial reason why we got Rabach. NFL.com says he shouldn't be out too long, however I'm sure the Rabach move was insurance and depth at the same time.
  11. I like the next man up attitude as well!
  12. I like the next mam up attitude as well!
  13. Max I was thinking the same thing! :-)
  14. Tagging a center? The way I remember we let him walk because of dollars. It wasn't because he we didn't want him. Flynn was our center, who really wanted that? We just had too much money lined up in others. Flynn was bad, so very bad, and Rabach was light years better. I'm sure he isn't now, but I'm betting he's serviceable.
  15. I agree, and I'm sure it will come to that. I betting the market for him isn't huge and I'm betting their isn't going to be the interest that he or the Giants thought would be ojt there.
  16. I would love that pick up, but who knows what's going on as we saw with Aso. Can you imagine a recovered Kindle, Suggs, and Osi rushing the passer! Holy Hell! He's got attitude problems however, that needs to be weighed seriously.
  17. You're right, it's that simple, I'm glad that the rest of the 20 something teams haven't figured that out! Let's go Oz! Don't give up that secret!
  18. How do you incentive laden an OT's contract? Games played? Not being sarcastic, I'm wondering what the parameters would be.
  19. We've got some good young players, it'll be interesting if a few step up as X-factors and really help propel this team forward. I'm gonna miss Heap, how he excels in Arizona, there's some tred on those tires.
  20. It seems that we really don't have to move very fast. The transactions in the NFL have slowed right down, I think most GMs and Owners are taking stock of what is left and what they have to spend before they surge ahead. Oz will shake it out just fine and no doubt we'll have another deep playoff run if we stay healthy.
  21. Think back to the Ravens Houston monday night game, this guy was smashing our lbs all over the place. I can remember 2-3 times that he drove our guys backward 2-4 yds. Forget the carries, he's a freakin bulldozer, just get behind him!
  22. Great move, I love this! Just a perfect addition.
  23. Papa, your negativity gets tiresome. The guy played hard jesus. There were a few bad plays, but there were a bunch of good ones. For christ sake. Everything is this player sucks, that player sucks, this gm sucks, I could have done better. Cut a guy some freakin slack, this is a game, and very few play the game to be "bad". Landry had some bad plays, but he wasn't a terrible player. Man, chill a little.
  24. Which is why the Ravens were picked as one of a very few teams that are built to compete year in and year out? Now, his moves aren't perfect, but lets not get ridiculous and speak of the man like he's Al Davis or Dan Snyder.
  25. We've got Zibby and Nakamura, we're ok.
