  1. Gooden had his chances to excel.
  2. Who wears a protective boot with normal wear and tear?
  3. Fox coming back healthy would be awesome for this secondary. Hopefully he's feeling great by the end of oct or early nov. What a late season boost that wluld be! Fox az a nickelback would be a great proposition. Most teams 3rd corner is not that good.
  4. Lovin the Flacco I'm seeing this year! Hell yeah Joe!
  5. This should still be a good game. These two teams know each well. Even when not firing on all cylinders these two teams still give each other fits. I expect a good game, and I see no reason why we couldn't squeak out a win. We've got some new toys people. Vonta Leach, tell me he won't make a difference popping guys like Harrison, Woodly etc. Dickson can make some plays if their LBs don't respect him. Suggs has some rushing partners this year. Lastly, we do have some rookie WRs willing to give it their all.
  6. It could be that we're attempting to keep an oppoment on edge. I don't recall us ever being this secretive about an injury, does anyone else?
  7. I'd like to keep this guy around for special teams use. Hopefully he builds on what he did late last year.
  8. Lee Evans is listed as doubtful for the Falcons game. Not that he was gonna play much, but does anyone know what he did? Says it's due to his foot. On a positive note, Yanda is probable. That's good news! Anyone know if we'll see McKinnie play?
  9. Why o why would we start Zibby? That's like saying, Smith would start over Evans lol. Pollard is our boy.
  10. Not seeing the Cards in any way possible. (injuries barring of course) The Rams look good, but their defense if pretty porus, we should be them. With the Browns and Bengals looking to ge terrible again this year, we should absolutely get 8 wins alone against our division foes and the NFC West. Tennessee, is 9 wins Jacksonville is 10 wins I'm sure we can beat one of the following teams at least 1 time. Pitt Indy SD Houston NYJ Realistically I can see us blowing one of the games above that got us to 10 wins and I see us beating the Jets and Indy. That's 11-5 for me.
  11. There's also the incredibly high risk in giving a RB big $. Aren't they the most injured position in the NFL? I also believe that have the shortest career expectancy.
  12. I thought Mattison has done an excellent job myself, but to be honest I haven't been watching closely. Is it possible that Mattison will be a starting center in this league instead of a defensive lineman?
  13. Everything I've read has Yanda and Birk with injuries they're expected to recover from. I agree that it would be disappointing to lose Yanda for an extended period, however everything has been positive that he will be in the starting lineup. Hopefully it's not smoke cuz that has happened before.
  14. Yanda is our starting guard, not a backup.
  15. I think this group will be a strength late in the season. Once Fox is fealing good again, that puts some good DBs on the field. Not sure if Fox will putt Carr at Dime back or what, but it will be nice to have the flexibility.
  16. I'm sure Parmalee is a good guy and all, but there's no way he makes the team. There just isn't a need. We've got playmakers that do what he does and they too can play special teams.
  17. Parmalee doesnt have a shot. Allen will compliment rice and williams nicely.
  18. I thought cousins may have been a good guard too. Whom is our b/u guard now???
  19. So what are you getting at though?
  20. Hopefully he sticks...the depth would be tremendous. Cousins backing up the guard positions, and LeVoir the tackles. Reid awaiting his time next year or the year after.
  21. Jared who? lol lol lol I love Oz...he's the man. Hopefully the McKinnie thing will work out for at least just one season. That's all we need to get Oher one more year and get Reid up to speed.
  22. Suddenly the O-Line is deep and not a weakness! Cousins can back-up at Guard. Reid can back-up at Tackle and continue to learn. And Levoir can be the primary back-up at both tackle positions! We also have many great options to road grade! Put a double tackle set of Oher and Cousins next to Yanda. Mmmmm I can hear the pads crunch! lol
  23. It's too bad this guy is like this because when he was playing for us, he was unstoppable. Imagine if he would have dedicated himself to what he does? There's so much talent in this guy it's ridiculous and he's chosen to just squander it. It's too bad.
  24. I'll just disagree because I think after the first 7 or so corners in this league, the rest all have glaring weaknesses in one form or fashion. And, to top it off, they're all getting paid very close to each other. It's not like #20 is getting paid half of what #10 is getting paid. They're all very close in terms of money. We fall in love with others because we see em on sportscenter, but if they were on this team we'd be all over em saying they're no better than Fox! Seen it a thousand times. People always think the other guys are better when they only see the highlights. It's not like ESPN is gonna show how many times Trufant gets beat in coverage. If he's so good, why doesn't the defense excel moe against pass coverage? My point being is, that the field is much more level at corner than most people think. Lastly Ike excels cuz of Pitt. Put him on another team and people will be screaming. He's on par as are several others.
  25. Ahh lol, u r right about years lol. Tell me who is better? I looked at the salaries, 10-15 are all getting paid about the same and they're all on the same level of play with the exception of charles woodson. Just a bunch of cbs that are good but not exceptional. After the top 15, it really falls off. U need to be fair in an arguement, carr needs safety help everytime if he's playing as a 1 or 2 cb. Fox can cover w/o help. Is he revis, asi, or even asante? No. But as expwcted those CBs are getting paid better.
