  1. That is music to my ears and easy on the eyes! lol Hell yeah, I was joking with my friends (who all know my intense and completely ridiculous hatred for the Steelers haha)and they were saying my season is over, I can just sit back and relax! Of course I would never, but damn this feels good!!!!!
  2. For cryin out loud, please listen people lol, here's a link from their site no less lol. http://www.jefflindsay.com/LDSFAQ/FQ_practices.shtml#med I think you may be thinking Jehovah's witnesses, my mom's side of the family is largely witnesses and I here them talk about that all the time. But they always cave in when things get serious and take medication. However I'm not entirely sure, so I won't talk about things I don't know.
  3. That's a crock, I remember explaining that before. Maybe a few goof balls don't, but that's not true at all. There's plenty of Mormon doctors and surgeons etc. They do believe in man made medicines. I've got a couple Mormon friends, and I remember asking them about this. Maybe Heap believed that, but it's not a "Mormon" thing. That's like saying all Christians play with snakes cuz a few morons do! lol
  4. I do remember there being rumors about Heap not taking medication, but that was only for pain and swelling (I would assume). There's no medication (I don't think lol)that actually helps to heal a high ankle sprain. Whenever a player gets these in the NFL, we never see them back in the NFL for at least a month. Heap's sprain was terrible too, I remember seeing it, his ankle was almost at a 90 degree angle to his leg. I remember one doc saying he wished he would have broken the ankle, it would have been easier to heal and fix.
  5. Suggs does bring it every week. Sometimes plays are just ran away from you, and on others he's asked to drop in coverage etc. His one down year where he had 8 sacks I think, the guy was always in coverage.
  6. Hines has been due his. All those years of cheap shots are gonna catch up with him. Now that he's older and a step slower I guarantee there's some players out there looking for payback. He's dug his own grave with his dirty play. I just hope someone grabs him by the facemask and yanks him to the ground like he's done time and time again to other corners in this league.
  7. High ankle sprains are 6-8 weeks minimum. Remember Heap's bad ankle sprain? High ankle sprains aren't overly serious from my understanding, they just take forever to heal. Although, there have obviously been some leaps in medicine that I can't afford. Puols only taking 3 weeks for a broken arm, and now Colston is only expected to be out 4 for a broken collarbone??? I thought it took all bones 6 weeks to heal??? lol
  8. How long before Ngata gets that new deal??? Let's pay this man and be done with it. Here's a big man that clearly spent the offseason making sure he was ready to go! I want this guy locked up long term!!!!
  9. Suggs is one hell of a football player with a high moter and a passion for the game! I love his intensity!
  10. I want this team to realize that quotes like that, from men with that sort of talent, means they are going to comeback with a vengeance. We need to be prepared, and we need to understand that men like that have pride and they'll be ready for a fight. No overconfidence. Preparedness. Believe in ourselves, but don't be foolish. The job is not finished until Ray touches that Lombardi Trophy!
  11. This all is very very very good news!!!!!!
  12. I'm guessing they would rather concede the short yardage rather than get burned deep for a big play. Sometimes defenses have to bend in order to not break. I'm not a big fan, but in Mike Wallaces case, it's imperitive to keep those big plays at bay. If we're sending a blitz, we can't afford to play bump and run and allow the receiver to get a step on a cb. This could result in the WR having to simply slip one tackle and have 20-30 yds of open field. Sometimes a defense can simply concede the short gain in hopes of forcing the team into 3rd and long on the next set of downs. This quote from Suggs reinforces it a bit: “Rex’s thing is, ‘I’m gonna kill you as many times as I can,’ ” Suggs replied. “Chuck’s unorthodox. In terms of his coaching personality, I’d describe it like this: He’s like The Joker. You never really expect what he’s gonna do, and everything has a motive. He’s like, ‘I’m just gonna set you up on this call so I can get you later.’ ”
  13. This was my biggest worry coming into the season. Can anyone give some detail on how the line played? I did not see the game. I'm most concerned with how McKinnie played. He was deemed done by the Vikes, were they premature in their evaluation? Secondly, how did Birk handle Hampton? Last, did the center we picked up from Dallas play at all? It would seem that he's actually the better center than Birk being that he's fresh off a pro bowl birth. Thanks
  14. I was thinking, based on play in the pre-season that Webb had fallen down the depth chart and possibly out of favor. Then in game 1, he leads all Ravens in Tackles lol. Who saw that coming??? Lol
  15. Not a fair statement whatsoever. You can play statistical games of course. Only one team will win it all. However, the Ravens are as good a bet as anyone. How many people thought the following: 1. The Ravens would win in 2000. (TN had a kick ass team, and they had our #!) 2. Rams would win it all the season they did. Trent Green was the starting QB! he was replaced by a nobody grocery bagger named Kurt Warner. 3. The Pats would win a SB with a green QB that replaced their Pro Bowler Bledsoe! They beat a phenomenal Rams team looking to repeat! 4. The Saints would win anything............ever. 5. And finnally, who thought the Giants would beat an unbeatable Pats team???? This Ravens team is as prepared as any of those afore mentioned teams.
  16. Mendenhall can kill a team and I don't e pext the Steelers to abandon the run. How is Nakamura better in coverage? Didn't he blow the 3rd n a gazillion last year. That mofo should not hit the field period.
  17. That is garbage. Pollard is far and away a better safety! I like Zib n all, but not starting Pollard is asking for trouble.
  18. The past three years, every Balt vs Pitt game should have been nationally televised. The NFL is missing the boat not broadcasting their biggest rivalry since Indy NE. Probably because it's two defenses battling it out instead of two franchise QBs.
  19. Valid point, didn't think of it that way.
  20. Stick with Taylor, he's a gamer.
  21. Last time I did that much smack talkin and image postin.....well, we lost in the playoffs! lol
  22. If Evans can keep Troy out of the box, that will be huge!
  23. This is good news indeed! I really wanna see this guy on Sunday!
  24. Who is Josh Bynes?
  25. This is excellent news! Lovin the focus on Oline this offseason!
