  1. This guy may supplant Oher huh? That's a good dilemma to have. Two quality tackles on one roster. Oh my what to do lol.
  2. We're gonna stomp Cinci in all phases of the game. Gonna be pretty. I hope this guy is all he is advertised cuz Im lovin what Im hearin.
  3. Just trying to get us talking about him. I will not say his name, he's a fraud.
  4. Very insightful. Good on you Ray.
  5. I agree. There's something about the kid that seems different.
  6. I agree that young kickers may miss a kick or two. Hausch was missing horribly and with frequency. With a playoff team, we just don't have that luxury to allow them to work through it. If Tucker misses one or two kicks here and there and they're just off, I can see the coaching staff saying that's growing pains. If he starts shanking kicks miserably he'll be booted quickly. Is what it is. Personally I think this kid is going to be really good. He does not seem like the usual fragile ego'd kicker.
  7. Fair enough, that's a good assessment. However, I just don't think Haush was going to get better here. The train was coming off the tracks and the coaching staff could not wait to see if he could right the ship. Now with a playoff run in line. So, in the end, I would still make the same decision.
  8. Exactly, so I wouldn't say we made the wrong choice at that time. If Tucker does the same thing, I would make the same decision.
  9. Is Hausch good now? I wouldn't recommend riding that out. He was a disaster. There are rookie misses that you have to ride out, but Hausch's meltdown is not something you ride out. I agree with your assessment that rooks need patience however that patience has it's limits and Hausch certainly pushed way past that line. On top of that, everything he projected, body language etc, was that he was broken. There's no way we could have continued with him.
  10. I guess we'll disagree. I don't find comments offensive that I find have more actual fact than fiction. I find the comments disappointing and I find them unfortunate however they're not without basis.
  11. Feel bad for him but he was simply outplayed. As commented before. He handled the miss very well. No excuses.
  12. Im just pointing out that previous commemts were not really that offensive. My personal opinion on Williams is that hes a good guy that doesnt mind taking chances. No one would fault a stock trader for trying to cash in at the right time. I was simply commemting on the offensiveness of previous posts. I personally wish these athletes the best because they work too hard to get this far just to allow the future to slip through their finger tips.
  13. You could be right, but I really dont think so. Im ok with Williams taking a chance for a big payday. Life is about taking calculated risks. As far as these guys blowing through their money......any way its sliced it should rarely happen. These guys can absolutely live with privacy. Theres a stanley cup winning goalie that lives in my small town in upstate ny. He doesnt get harrassed and he was very popular at one point. These guys allow people to insert themselves into their life and sponge off them. They encourage them to invest in faulty hedge funds and poor businesses. What does a football player know about hedge funds? These guys just need to insulate and protect themselves better than they do.
  14. Oh come now, their lifestyles are right out in public. From the Viking sex cruise to Ben's rapes to the mulitiple babies mommas. These guys are all trying to live the "gangsta" life. That's not offensive, that's what the majority of these guys are doing. Acknowledging the truth is by no means offensive. It's very disappointing and I would love to see it change cuz like I said before, these guys have worked to hard to have it ripped away from them like so many of them allow it to happen. That's why education is so very important. It's precious.
  15. And the year after.....we're gonna be the first three peat.
  16. No more bend but don't break when you got players with an attacking mentality. I'm sure Mattison is a great defensive mind but honestly, talk about not using the talent around you.
  17. Lol, I know you're not a fan lol. However, I really think that Jones could haul in 30 or so passes with 15-16 being for very large gains. With his speed, even if he's a decoy that is huge. I'm not advocating throwing him the ball with the game on the line. I'm saying take a few shots, early in games. Make a defense respect you. Jones does have some very good aspects to his game as a 3rd receiver. Cmon Crav......you can believe! haha
  18. Darling, Hunter, Hymes, Moore, and Johnson (patrick or the other one) Anyone remember when we had to chose from these guys? We've come a long way.
  19. I think he's got a "back" problem.......or maybe an ailing "knee"......that would do it. Jacoby Jones could be a unbelieveable "X" factor for us. I keep forgetting he's with us. I really like LaQuann Williams. He just won't go away. Honestly I really like Doss.
  20. We're gonna need more from Rice. lol Just kidding. That felt good. Can't take too much from preseason, however one notable thing that I really enjoyed. Flacco found his new "Mason". Smith is going to have a very big year. And that means that Boldin is going to see alot of one on one coverage. I'm Ok with that. Does anyone thing Flacco's release is quicker? I watched the highlights and man the ball came out of his hands quick. The TD to Boldin was very pretty, a little jump and BAM the ball was dead on the money.
  21. Is LaQuann locking up that number 3 spot? I'm not watching the game but I see he just had two big catches.
  22. I would have to be a Tucker supporter as well.
  23. If this guy doesn't have common sense enough to cheat on Megatron what's he doing in the NFL?
