  1. What a game that was, I had NFL ticket that year, I was in front of my TV going crazy!!!!! Just loving it!
  2. The down the field routes are absolutely Cams. The tempo and pace are not. The way Flacco communicates with his coaches clearly isn't either. I saw alot of those same down the field plays last year. The difference I saw was that Flacco made quicker decisions and the ball came out of his hands much quicker. Let's not also forget that Smith is a bonafide beast this year and we did not have Jones last year or a healthy Boldin. There's several factors that come into play for why the offense is rolling right now. It's not just the arrival of Caldwell. There's no way Cam just said, "You know what, I'm the OC, but clearly I don't know what I'm doing, how about we run Jim's offense instead". Honestly.
  3. Look Max when you have Anthony Wright at QB and your best WR is an over the hill Marcus Robinson and you're down to Seattle at the half by 4 scores, you don't keep playing. It's not like Wright would be able to just keep throwing the ball up and scoring at will. What's Robinson supposed to do....his best impression of Randy Moss????
  4. I didn't realize Mattison was not there anymore, however that does not preclude the fact that Cam will be running a top offense again. I don't like it either, I wasn't a supporter, however it's a fact. And this is clearly Cam's offense. Yes we're hurrying up as Peyton did in Indy and yes we're using techniques to keep the defense on the field and communication techniques to run plays back and forth, but the down the field actual plays are Coryell/Cam like. And if Cam changed to get better by adapting successful portions of another offense, even the better on him as adaptation is never easy for guys with large egos.
  5. Mattison is head coach at a college program that is finally moving in the right direction after years of mediocrity. Cam is going to be coaching one of the best offenses in the NFL, again. He built an offensive juggernaut in San Diego. Hard to refute that and not support those two. I didn't think Cam had it in him. I'm obviously wrong.
  6. Harbaugh says we have to pay the man. Case closed. lol
  7. Flacco for supreme commander of the world. Commander Flacco.....that has a good ring! He could make everyone get unibrows and handlbar mustaches!!!!!!!
  8. It's fun though, I'm in Crav. Flacco is the best QB in the league right now, League MVP, Super Bowl MVP, and hell Flacco for President!!!!!!!
  9. I may be thinking of another guy, but I think that's what happened to Rainey. Things happen so fast though.
  10. Absolutely Crav lol Double D too.
  11. Agree on the trade!!!!! Let's build for the future.
  12. Rainey was put on the PUP or IR I believe wasn't he? I remember reading something that he took a hell of hit the last preseason game and something in his back has swelled. The article said that Rainey wasn't going to seek and injury settlement to move to another team.
  13. That double reverse would have been executed beautifully if Boldin would have finished, there was alot of green for that WR.
  14. Joe was brilliant and I think his release is faster than ever. With the addition of Caldwell I wonder if that's something they made a point to improve upon. Wait till Joe gets it going with Dickson. I think he's still a bit rusty. Once that guy gets it going it's going to be even more deadly.
  15. I think the Ravens were in go ahead and show me mode. I don't think the Ravens have any problem paying Joe what he wants if he proves that he's the general that he says he is. And Joe is doing just that. The Ravens will be more than OK with having to pay him more.
  16. Exactly, this defense may not be great, but they're going to be very opportunistic and they're going to play very well with a lead. This is gonna be fun because I bet the Bengals team whups the Steelers. They are not ready for them. And Dalton is better than I had expected. Ben is gonna have it rough when they play.
  17. Ray had some gapping holes to run through, it was a thing of beauty! If they keyed on Ray, Flacco killed them through the air. That pass to Pitta in the open field was beautiful. If they key on Flacco we run it at em and Rice just kills em. I don't think Rice took one big hit all night. And his catch for a first down was awesome!
  18. Oher looked really good at LT. The offensive line in general looked very good. I love Flacco's release, it's definitely much improved. Very quick. I wonder how much Caldwell had to do with this. This Ravens team reminds me of the Packers team a couple of years ago. Their defense wasn't good, but they were opportunistic with a lead and the offense was very good at getting them that lead.
  19. They didnt look good in the second quarter but they looked fabulous in the third and fourth quarter! Dalton was getting ate up! I told my gf after the first bengals series that Dalton was going to through a pick cuz his balls were coming out high. Sure enough the pick was on an overthrown WR.
  20. Yes and no, I don't think Harrison is the impact player he used to be. Troy also looks like he's a shell of his former self. Similar to Ed and Ray those guys are still good, but they're no longer superstars. And Pitt hasn't done a good job of bringing other guys into that defense that are going to carry the mantle. They've still got some solid guys, but their corners are atrocious and they're linebackers are from another generation. They need cover guys at both of those positions and they don't have them. It's gonna be a bumpy road for Pitt. I can't wait for tonight, this Ravens team is ready.
  21. Dalton doesn't have the arm to be successful. Not against defenses like ours. Green is a beast, an absolute studd, however he needs a better QB to reach his max potential. Ravens by 152 lol. Also, did anyone see how porous that Pitt defense was?
  22. Watching the Pitt game last night. The lineman that were overweight were absolutely gased with the No Huddle offense. Peyton kept Casey Hampton off the field for most of the night.
  23. This seems rather ridiculous this late in the game. Maybe the coaching staff is seeing something that we're not. Does Cinci have some really fast rush ends? That's the only thing that I could think of that would bring this on. Perhaps there's a matchup situation that doesn't favor McKinnie????
  24. What I dont understand is why Art is so much "at fault". Shouldnt Cleveland have done the right thing the first time around? Didnt they give the expansion team exactly what Art was asking for? In that regeard why didnt they simply do it in the forst place? I think Cleveland is reaping bad Kharma if you ask me.
  25. Its rather sad that we seem to be moving backwards as a society in that regard. Whom can be trusted anymore?
