It's definitely nothing like Oblivion, so don't think about it like that. But it's made with the same quality Oblivion was, and it has that same kind of feeling, like you said.
That was one of the most incredible finishes I think I've ever seen. Maybe because I'm a Junior fan and the way he came back through there, or maybe because Jamie Mac absolutely deserved it. The pothole issues didn't bother me. Cool, cool, cool race.
Isn't the 500 always the week after the Super Bowl? And ouch, Crav. Not cool! And I dunno about him, but I'm still snowed in. We had a really good melt today, though.
Concentration lapses, rarely gets separation, was used ineffectively at GT. I think a raw receiver, regardless of talent, is the absolute last thing we need this season.
Made the Essex to Owings Mills drive today. It was surprisingly decent. Any non-main road has that 4" layer of packed in snow/ice, though. That's a product of reacting too slowly to the storm.
Defense sealed the Cards/Packers game, too. That doesn't mean there was any all game (or season) long. Those teams are saying the same thing about our defensive players. If they could have one of our linebackers, just one...
I'm taking my mom to work all the way out in Owings Mills. Luckily, my girlfriend lives out there too, because I am horrified to make that drive back and forth. Still no snow plows on my street.
We shoveled our street out on our own. There were like 20 people just shoveling/using pickups to flatten snow and get it out. Also: SC, how've you been? When did you move up here anyway?
I loved the Leno/Letterman one. That was fantastic. The rest are alright, I guess. Also, The Who might have just topped the Stones as worst Super Bowl performance ever.
It's over 20" here, too. I shoveled two paths from my gate to my garage, and tried to use my truck to shave off enough of the rest to not have to shovel it all, but the stuff was too heavy to move. Ridiculous storm.
I've been up all night shoveling on occasion, just so it's not so bad later today. I also walked with my friend up to Eastern Ave. to the 7-Eleven, and there was a guy doing donuts at the intersection in the snow. With a cop watching. And laughing.
