Would've rather gotten a draft pick, I'm sure they would've given us one.

Fantastic. -

Why can't it be? There isn't a rule that says a conditional pick can only move up 1 single round, and from what I have read, they haven't stated that it can only turn into a 4th. -

Great move even if it turns into a 3rd round pick IMO because we have a shot to win now and giving up a pick next year is the best way to not hurt this team. I was willing to trade a linebacker or Willis and maybe would rather have done that, but I'm very happy with this move and the versatility he can bring us once our other corners are healthy is also big. -
The Jets are the only team that I honestly believe has more talent than we do, so these injuries are all big. But as you said, Revis is the real key, we need him to continue holding out.
-
That hurts a lot simply because now Clayton must take over Punt Return AND 3rd WR duties, so if he goes down, we could have some trouble. However, if he can stay healthy, we have the depth to definitely make it 8 weeks without Stallworth, who was great to have this offseason pushing Clayton to do better things.

A teams record has much more to do with the actual teams talent and heart then it does the training camp the coach of said team decides is best. Just my opinion.

I just don't understand what the debate is here. It isn't even proven that a 'harder' camp causes more injuries, as a lot of injuries in sports come from guys taking time off and then going hard. What I'm saying is neither side can prove their version of camp is better, so what's the point in debating it.

Only saw highlights and still waiting for a chance to watch the game on TiVo, but I'm so jacked from what I saw from Cody. I was ecstatic about that pick, and thus far it looks to be paying off. Also really happy to see Willis playing well because we need to deal him or one of our LB's for a CB and have McClain play backup HB.
-
The depth on our front 7 is unbelievable...we really need to trade somebody for a CB.
-
Early reports say for Doug Dutch, a 2nd year CB from Michigan who went undrafted and then didn't make the team last year or the Las Vegas Locomotives. Sad.
-
Foxworth was really the #1 guy we couldn't lose because of our outstanding depth at other positions and total lack of depth at CB, god fucking damnit.
-
TO doesn't come close to canceling out Boldin at this point in his career, but he certainly can still play, and I'm pissed off Cincy gets him. Let's just hope he blows up at Carson sometime this season.

Saw this a few days ago and I'm just confused as to what the injury actually is, they only say 'head' injury. I have confidence in this guy and I don't think he was doing anything stupid when it happened.

I have no idea why people don't like the love, it hasn't stopped the Colts from being great every year even though they are always top 3 in the preseason rankings.
-
That was ridiculous, even the two losses are at a 48 and 49 win percentage. According to their computers, we are STACKED.

I used to be the biggest Ed Reed fan as well, but he is just going crazy. The guy has 3 years left in him, max. We should let his contract run out and hopefully he's smart enough to retire. I'm happy too hear he is going on the PUP because I think Hamlin and Zibby can cover for 6 games so Ed can be helpful in the playoffs.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/don_banks/07/20/ravens/index.html DonBanks So who's with me on Balt. as the AFC's team to beat in '10? http://bit.ly/bAgrM4 JasonLaCanfora @DonBanks I am, big dog. My offseason prediction was B-more vs. Green Bay in the SB. We shall see Time to get er done boys.

Most people would agree with Smith, but that is the kind of thing you don't say publicly, ever. On to Vick, I am tired of news about him, I don't bother reading anything anymore.

http://pit.scout.com/2/980598.html We talk about what we would do if we lost Oher or Gaither...Well, it just happened to Pittsburgh.
-
Cousins is the backup to the backup, should we really be worrying about him? You can only expect so much depth on one team, you can't go 8 deep on the offensive line in the salary cap era.
-
I was so happy this guy fell to us in the 2nd round, he will be a Pro-Bowler in 3 years if people around the league pay attention to any stats besides Sacks.
