  1. I watched it yesterday and her and her lawyer were vague about whether they would file suit and what for. If she sues for unsafe conditions in the mall her case should be laughed out of court and she should pay expenses. If she sues because of the security tape being put on the web she may have more of a case there. I know you cannot tell who it is so I am not sure she should get anything but I also dont think it should have been uploaded to the web. I at least understand the idea of a suit for that.
  2. For one-third the price of a regular ticket, NFL fans will be able to stand outside Cowboys Stadium and act like they are attending the Super Bowl XLV. The league announced on Wednesday that tickets to watch the game on large HD video screens on the east side of the stadium will cost $200. Read more The NFL is so full of itself and fan unfriendly at times. Though I bet they sell a lot of those tickets so perhaps the ends justify the means.
  3. I do not think Harbaugh is a perfect or great coach at all. Not yet and maybe not ever. Who knows? I just think that for a coach taking over a 5-11 team and leading them to records of 11-5, 9-7, and 12-4 with playoff wins each year its a no brainer that he deserves an extension and should get one.
  4. If you count the season that just ended as a year then yes he has two years left. If you do not, he only has one year. Every coach has problems, but with his record the last three years and where the team was when he took it over, he certainly deserves an extension. Sometimes being a lame duck coach seems to be a distraction.

    Oh, Suggah!

    Where would YOU spray it?
  6. He has been coaching for three seasons and gone to the playoffs each year and won at least one playoff game each year with an appearance in the AFC Championship. There is no way he doesnt deserve a new contract IMO. His contract is up after next year so its wise to get the extension done now so it wont become a distraction. The blaming of Cavanaugh, Fassell, Billick, now Cameron. Fans shouting for what some see as an obvious change. The firing of each bringing no real change mainly because the problem is on the field.
  7. No doubt they both dropped key passes they should have caught, but that doesn't really change my thoughts I posted. Its not like any of them dropped a lot of passes this year.
  8. I was so angry I almost turned the game off after the fumbled snap. I would have rathered them just play poorly the whole game.
  9. I have little problem with receivers wanting to get the ball and saying so, especially if they feel they are not even being looked at on the field. If they run hard every play and are not even looked at it would be frustrating. Plus their next contract is largely based on what they do on the field this season and being a good route runner but not getting the ball is not going to help so much. Even beyond the money they are competitors and want to compete. Good competitors want the ball. Now there is a line between stating you want the ball and complaining so much that it causes a distraction to the team. You can't have that.
  10. LMAO, thats great.
  11. Thats really the part the bothers me and still does. I didn't know what to expect in this game and was not exactly expecting a win. However with the way the first half went then the way the 2nd half went it stung. Even if in the 3rd quarter we punt and the Steelers drive down the field and score instead of Rice fumbling when he did I would probably feel better. The three quick turnovers were hard to take. We did exactly what we couldnt do in that situation. Oh well.
  12. Its nice to make the playoffs so consistently and to win some of them but Saturday was a bad loss. To be up like that and to lose is frustrating. To see the team make the same mistakes they have all season is frustrating. To see the offense sputter against a good defense again is frustrating. To see Joe struggle in the playoffs again is frustrating. (hes had one good game in 7 playoff appearances by my count) To see a receiver corp who a lot put at or near the top in the NFL underutilized so much is frustrating. To see a QB often (usually?) lock on to targets while missing others wide open, or dumping to the RB when a wide open target is further down the field is frustrating. To see the O-line be so inconsistent is frustrating. To see the defense play so well then give up a huge play when it mattered most is frustrating. Watching Koch and Cundiff has been rewarding. Overall to me its been a frustrating year with the way they have lost games and even the way they have won some of them. Some will accuse me of expecting too much, I ofcourse disagree, but I expected this team to be better. Frankly with the way they played I am amazed they finished 12-4. And I see people point out that we were ahead in the fourth and lost some of those games and are encouraged by that, but being in the lead in the fourth and losing pleases me no more than losing the whole game. And while I am in the minority in this, part of what bothers me is the continued lack of development of Flacco. He is still young and could improve but I have seen such little improvement from him that I do not really expect much at this point. As he is now I do not think he is anywhere good enough to be a franchise QB, at least a franchise whose goal is to win it all. So I am frustrated by what I see as the continued lack of a good QB for this franchise and the fact I dont feel we'll ever go any farther than we have this year with him at the helm barring the off chance the defense becomes so good that we do not have to rely on offense at all. And honestly in the next few years I think we will have to rely on our offense more and more. So in a word I am just frustrated right now. I am sure I will feel better in the days and weeks to come, but I am not pleased by this loss or this years team in general. I am merely stating the way I feel about things, I am not trying to sway others or argue anything in this thread. I am just explaining why I am not warm with "we had a good year" feelings right now.
  13. Well the way it happened Sunday is not how it normally works. However if the ref can decide whether to call the original and the retaliation or just the retaliation I guess he can also decide whether just to call the original infraction. I think the right call was made and would say the same think if a Raven started it and was penalized alone. If more refs would do it, or if they could add another penalty in addition to the normal offsetting ones, then a lot of the idiocy that some players get involved in could be removed. I hate pests who do things just to try to draw penalties, it cheapens the game in my opinion.
  14. They should keep one receiver, probably Boldin and fill the rest with minimum wage players and rookies. With Joe as your QB there is no reason to have multiple good receivers. Offense wise they should spend all their money on OL, that way they can keep Joe upright and improve the running game to a point where we may not need a good QB. Now the downside is that if the line gives Joe more time then he may dance around looking lost a lot more. On defense it all depends on who comes back. The defense made some mistakes, and some at key times, but IMO the defense was good enough to win it all if the offense played like it should have. I am fine with the OC, DC, and HC all coming back and hope they do. I think all did a decent to good job.
  15. If I was a ref and could clearly see who started an altercation, I'd call him and him alone every time. Otherwise there is no reason for him not to start foolishness like Hines did.
  16. I was amazed Kemoeatu got called for the penalty late in the game. He got away with the same thing early in the game. I dont think the officiating was good, but I dont think it cost us the game.
  17. Thanks man!
  18. I absolutely agree that with that talent the offense should have been better. Where I disagree with a lot of people is that I think Cam is handcuffed with a QB who hasnt developed the way they expected.
  19. I know blaming Cam is the popular thing to do, but Cam wasnt fumbling, dropping passes, or throwing INTs to double covered receivers in the second half. I do agree we tried to run too much when it wasnt working, but the turnovers are what put the game back in the Steeler's hands much more than any play calling by Cam IMO.
  20. Yeah I guess Heap did have a good game.
  21. The bright side is that we may never, or at least will probably have to wait a long long time to see such a choke job by the Ravens again.
  22. Everyone on offense should share blame. I cannot think of one offensive player who had a good game.
  23. Thanks anyway Preacher, I agree. Good luck next week.
  24. All white guys look like Ben Affleck to me.
  25. I know, but its really weird. I am usually real careful with that stuff and pay close attention. I do not recall anything asking if I wanted it. I know thats how it had to get there though. I deleted it with no trouble. Is it any good? I am still happy with Firefox so I didnt even mess with it.
