Yeah it has. I think the most has been 8 people once in the 90s written about in Jon Krakauer's book "Into Thin Air". Oh and the wife of the MTV CEO at the time almost lost her portable espresso machine she was paying someone to carry up. The article says this is the highest death count at one time. So far.The amount of people going up now is a lot higher, there will be 40 or 50 (or more) wiped out at one go in the next 10 years I bet. (sorry, this topicis a pet peeve of mine)

Oh yeah. Its a dangerous climb too. I just never liked the idea of non-climbers, or novice ones paying others to get them to the summit. Eventually a bunch of tourists are going to get killed and it will be a 'tradgedy' even though its one of the most dangerous places on Earth.

13 Dead On Mt. Everest Its a shame that it was all Sherpas. At Least 13 Sherpas Dead as Avalanche Sweeps Mount Everest - NBC News

There is this young pretty coworker in the cubicle next to me. She just told me she that she likes Frank Ocean. Wanting to impress her with my knowledge and let her know I am not that much older I responded "Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car". Mission acomplished.

lol, I had one car break down while I was driving. Just once in almost 25 years. Guess where? Southbound tube of the Ft McHenry tunnel!
-
I wasnt being sarcastic if it seemed like it- I think its a good move. I am not sure why but for some reason I always feel like I should stay in the car. I'd much rather stretch and walk around a bit. Next time I will.

Yeah, if something happens on 95 just about all the other routes become horrible too. My last job I worked at home usually. When I took this one I grossly underestimated gas and toll costs. Even though its a raise, I have less money than I did before. At least I have a lot of time in traffic to think about it all. Smart, I always feel like I should stay in the car. I'd prefer to get out. Thats perfect. Working at home was good, at times really good, but I got tired of it. There would be weeks when I didnt talk to anyone from work instead just communicating by email. I got cabin fever. A mile commute is nice, quick, cheap and easy.

I havent been stuck car in park or off for a long time, I hate it but prefer that to move 5 feet and stop. I have had a number of awful commutes since I started working at this location. It should take 45-50 minutes (30-35 with no traffic) but it usually runs an hour. At least once a week I usually have an hour and a 15 minutes or longer. Last year I had a morning trip that took 3 hours. I was thinking of all the cool places I could make it to in 3 hours instead of work. Dee, you live in the greater Columbia area dont you? Do you have a back yard? Big enough for me to put a tent up and live there Mon-Friday?

Well played WBAL's traffic reporter Jim Russ. Tell me how 95 is backed up really bad to get me to take 895 where I sit stuck watching traffic breeze into the Ft McHenry Tunnel. You got me. I guess I will call in a motorist report tomorrow about an overturned truck of pot bellied pigs on 95. "Theres pigs running everywhere, the noise, the smell. Oh the humanity!"

When the NFL would not approve him he could complain about that for years. Maybe if it was one of the NYC area teams I could see him kind of actually wanting it, I just dont believe his intentions in this case. I dont think he will ever run for president but I bet he pretends he the rest of his life. Hes just an attention whore.
-
I clicked it and it turned me gay. "Honey, screw MAOS tonight. Were ordering Magic Mike" The guy in the video is funny on Veep.
-
I doubt he really wants to own a team, more likely he wants the attention.

LOL DC < Millionaires Argument over.

And thats your right but the chart is made to make it look like, at least at a quick glance, that firearm murders have gone down since 2005 and thats not the case. And/or the chart could have been designed by an idiot.
-
Or it was designed to mislead. Maybe to go with this mug:

I like the fish out of water aspect of the Captain America movies. They are doing a great job. I was never a big fan of Iron Man either but the movies have made me like him. I'd probably see a Dr. Strange movie, just not that excited about the idea.
-
The Netflix series are Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. I dont think Dr. Strange strong enough for his own movie. I have never been a big fan of the god superheros or the magical ones.

The last few days have been nice and milder than the middle of the week. Perhaps global warming has peaked?

What actions?

Wow, you knew I meant you. I didn't see that coming. Mods, prepare for whiney complaints about me to be sent to you. Sorry, someone must have told him I was probably making fun of him. Ooh! I wonder if I will get any fight invitations!
-
I'm not a big fan of Brady or Manning but I think they would be very good players in any era. Sure qbs are protected now and the game was rougher back then but the players are so much faster and stronger now. The game is so much more complex now too.
-
Oh player. I thought it said poster at first. Player I don't know.

Well at the very least we can rest easy knowing those companies paid their fair share of taxes.
