  1. I want the players to get back to 'playing like a Raven'.
  2. We'll find out.
  3. I hope Stanley is well enough to play. We need him to play like a Raven. Or, at least like they used to.
  4. Yeah, forgot about that but he's had plenty of problems in camp according to our illustrious reporters. We'll see. I'm not ready yet to completely write him off.
  5. I don't think Mallet cuts it. We need a better solution. Have to compare him vs. Josh this Thursday.
  6. Thanks for these, Max! Well, Thursday is the preseason opener and I'm getting pumped about watching our rookies and second year guys. Haven't heard many (any?) good reports on Mallett, have you?
  7. Agree with that assessment.
  8. Well, it's bad for him and I feel for him. The team will probably be OK. Hopefully KLM continues to progress.
  9. Correa also looks like a tough guy. And, yep, we do need a few.
  10. Max I read where SSS had a double rupture of his tendon which his doctor had never seen before. If he comes back and plays like last year he'll deserve a Comeback Player of the Year award!
  11. Not too pleased with the lack of pass protection by our backs. We don't want Joe getting hurt again this year. Juice especially should do better.
  12. Great read! I don't know how he does it. He's a better man than me.
  13. Sounds promising but we'll know a bit more after the first few contact practiced, then a bit more than that when preseason starts. This will be a work in progress for quite some time.
  14. Miley had good things to say too...especially about Joe's deep passes. Also, he said Pitta looked good. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  15. It comes naturally to him.
  16. tsyl is right. Nothing to lose. I really doubt we see this guy running with the first stringers. Man, back to back years of a torn ACL...makes Perriman look healthy.

  18. Well, it sure doesn't make me optimistic. Suggs is supposed to address the media on Wednesday. I think Dumerville will play this year but the rest have a lot to overcome and not much more time to do it.
  19. Fair deal for both sides. I just hope he doesn't pull a Cundiff collapse.
  20. A lot of it is going to be up to Joe and more importantly the protection he gets. I think the O-line is going to be good as long as our number one pans out.
  21. A 'work in progress' is an apt description of what the team will be this year. We are in a bad position of needing star players (Flacco, Smith, Suggs) who have been injured return to their previous ability. That will take time. Even into the regular season. And that's without any new injuries coming up in training camp, the pre-season, and regular season. It's a a tall order to envision this team in the playoffs but I'm a fan so the glass is half full.
  22. It was just OTA's but our secondary said he could fly.
  23. Training camp report date for rookies is July 22, for vets July 27. About 3 weeks from now. Soon we'll begin, just begin, to see how good or bad this team might be.
  24. You're right. It's too early to tell. We'll know a lot more after camp, the preseason, and the Bills game. As of now, I'd have say 7 wins is more realistic. Too many key players coming off serious injuries. They'll be better than last year but they need one more draft before the talent is all there.
  25. i think he's very serious this year too. He wants to show he's still a top flight receiver. Joe needs enough time to throw the ball to him. Also looking forward to the 5 tight ends we have and seeing if Trestman can use them all.
