D was solid...Walker is a keeper and should get some playing time with the ones..Loop looked like a veteran pro kicker tonight...Rush was mostly crisp...all in all a very good pre-season game.

My cable is working now so I’m recording it. I want to see an improvement in Rush’s passing game but without a running game he may be running a lot for his life. I don’t see Henry, Hill or probably even Mitchell playing tonight to take some of the pressure off the pass protection. I also want to see Green have a good night along with the rest of the D. But most of all, no injuries!

Well, I know he won't be as good as Tuck was, but I'm hoping he can match Stover's stats, although i should probably look those up...and, ...those stats show Stover took 3 seasons before he took off, hitting mostly in the mid-70% range during that time.

I'm beginning to get an uneasy feeling that Loop is going to be an inconsistent kicker for us this year. There's still time for him and the Special Teams coach and Harbaugh to figure it out, but come September if he's still missing inside the 45 we'll have a problem.

Appreciate the commentary...my cable went out in the 1st quarter and didn't come back until 2:54 left in the game. From what I saw, Mitchell looks stronger and just as fast and quick as before. Rush was under duress too much. D looks solid.

No starters against their #1's for at least a quarter. Just hoping for no injuries and that our reserves can hang with their regulars long enough to at least keep it interesting.

It's a physical game and sometimes emotions win out in a practice with another team. Wiggins learned a lesson here, I'm sure.

On a side note, Jackson threw 40 TD passes last year as against being intercepted only 4 times! That is a phenomenal ratio. In fact, it's the NFL all time season record.

I've been hot and cold about him over the years. Sometimes I agree with him and sometimes I don't. I like to follow Jeff Zreibac more than him. He seems more factual.
