  1. Yep...Mitchell is reported to be moving fast and cutting sharply, as he did when he was a rookie. He was a sensation back then, averaging over 8 yards per carry! He'd be a terrific change of pace back to supplement Henry and Justice. I just hope he can stay healthy. He had moves like I haven't seen since Gayle Sayers.
  2. Maybe they're reluctant to send both out in patterns, preferring to hold one in to pass block or be a safety valve. Just a guess.
  3. He has the right attitude and ability. He just needs more opportunities. If he can stay healthy I think this is his year. Ideally he should get an extension before the season starts. Then he has to stay healthy.
  4. I think we get Kolar cheaply too. Likely is the key guy to keep. Andrews has been a classy guy. I hope, and think we will, treat him that way whether he's here or elsewhere.
  5. If they might want him for the upcoming season and think we'll let him play out his contract here, why not trade now?
  6. Yeah, I think they keep Likely. Not sure about Kolar. There might still be time to trade Andrews but I think they'll let him play out his contract here as you suggested.
  7. We have a plethora of riches at tight end: Andrews, Likely, and Kolar. All in the last year of their contracts. We can't afford them all so who do we keep and who do we trade? Take your best shot.
  8. It's a really stupid idea just from the point of view of potential injury. Shoot, Ar'Darius tore his achilles while conditioning last week.
  9. I don't have a good feeling about this. I like the current idea where winning the division has meaning. And, I don't like it that if team A has beaten team B that the latter could be seeded above the former.
  10. Well that would be good if we get Urban back. Still not so sure about Jenkins.
  11. Um, 35 years old...is he just there to take up space? I don't know a thing about him...And why didn't we re-sign Brent Urban?
  12. I'm looking at it as a 12-5 schedule but that is as of now. I want to see what we've got in camp and pre-season before going all-in.
  13. It has the makings of an exciting schedule...and there aren't any gifts in that list.
  14. I have faith in Pagano...as long as nobody else in the secondary gets a long term injury (gulp!).
  15. Yeah I do think it puts too much strain on the players and it is not really necessary. TV is what sells the $$$.
  16. Ar'darius Washington is out for at least most if not all of the season after tearing his Achilles tendon during 'conditioning'. Sorry for the kid. And in a contract year to boot after having a breakout season last year. Guess we're more than lucky to have drafted Starks.
  17. yeah sounds good so far...and no Christmas game either.
  18. i have given up on Ojabo. He gets glowing Training Camp reports then disappears into a fog of injuries and obscurity every year. Really glad we drafted who we did in 2nd round.
  19. Yeah. I think waiting is our best move at least for now.
  20. Hey, the Panthers just released Clowney...should we have any interest in that??
  21. Football is way different today. It is a rare player who lives year round in the city where he plays and even less likely for a fan to run into such a player at the store or gas station. Hell I remember Don Shula eating dinner at a Howard Johnson's in Towson decades ago. Same with other fans and players. The Big Money has really ruined the old camaraderie between team and players. Yeah I'm old.
  22. I agree though I wonder if that will be the case with most Ravens fans.
  23. I hope for the best for this kid, but he's got a really tough act to follow.
  24. Just more opportunity for more money for the owners.
