  1. Larmar is definitely a leader on offense and it's true Henry is quickly developing into one also.
  2. NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  3. Yeah, I think that really screams negligence on the Bills and Refs' part. He looked out of it to me and I bet he is concussed.
  4. Probably another Cinci replay that goes down to the wire. Fortunately, it is a home game for us. That should help some. This game looks like Lamar I vs Lamar II.
  5. I don't know many, if any, quarterbacks could have made the play where Lamar stiff-armed Hubbard, not once but twice, while running to his right and then thowing across his body to both find and complete a pass to Likely in the end zone for a TD. I've never seen a play made like that before. And Tsyl, you're spot on. There aren't any great teams in the league these days. Our defense had a piss poor day for sure. Orr is learning on the job. The O-line is patchwork with several moving parts. And yet with all that, the Ravens put on a 41 point outburst. It was one damned good entertaining game. Next up is Washington which will test Orr's D again. If the Ravens had a good offensive line, I wouldn't hesitate to pick us to win. We will lose a few more games on the way but so will all the other teams and in the end I think we will wind up in the playoffs.
  6. I dunno, guys...we always wondered what Lamar would do if we got involved in a shootout. I'd say he did pretty damn good today. And a big, fat NO to Davante Adams! We don't need him.
  7. He's b-a-a-a-c-k!!!
  8. You have to ignore them because they always laud the flavor of the month. I've noticed this even during games by the announcers and color analysts. When a team has the lead, they crow about how awesome they are. Then, if they fail, they've got all the reasons they 'knew' that would happen. It's pretty sickening.
  9. If the Ravens win Sunday, the bandwagon won't have any room left for more analysts.
  10. The sooner they forget about last week's win, the better. I want them going into Cincy with a chip on their shoulder. Should be easy to wear since Burrow has always had success against us.
  11. Ravens' website reports perfect attendance at first practice this week. Vorhees back. I think they should go with the same line as last week though. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Pierce practiced also.
  12. Man the Jets sure looked bad on offense Sunday. I think that was the worst I've ever seen Rodgers look.
  13. 17mil and a 2nd is too much. Plus, I don't think we need him. Like you said, we have a lot of guys whose contracts are up this year.
  14. Ya gotta give the Seahawks some time. I really think McDonald will succeed there. Detroit is awfully good now too.
  15. Well I think that just based on talent, Mekari is better, at this stage, than Vorhees. Rosengarten really played well. I'd keep the line the same for the Bengals. By the way, a shout out to Zach Orr...he called a tight game and utilized Hamilton more like last year, though still not as much as McDonald did.
  16. Yes! They have the right mindset now: confidence along with the need to keep focussed. Harbs was fired up and he has to stay that way and keep from having timeout issues. Henry is a beast...I just hope he can hold up for a whole season. And, over the last two years now, Justice Hill has come out of nowhere to be the perfect complement to Henry. Lamar had a great night though that fumble almost cost them the lead but i like the way he talked to every member of the offensive line on the sideline after that. He is growing as a leader. We have yet another tough game coming up with the Bengals who always give us fits. We really have to concentrate on Burrow---he's a Raven killer.
  17. Listen, bro, this was a resounding win. Just what they needed to salvage the season and shoot for the playoffs. Lamar was hot all week on leadership, Henry was the beast and. van Noy was the defensive leader. They overcame adversity of self inflicted wounds and Harbs timeout brain fart. This team is loaded with talent. If it’s coached properly the sky is, the limit. Schedule ahead is tough but if they play like last night, there’s nothing to fear in this league. Time for Harbs to step up and keep the team focused. Now we have something to look forward to.
  18. Very true. Maybe they'll let him out of the doghouse to give it a go. I did read though that they would prefer Mekari to LG and Rosengarten to RT.
  19. That hurts...the offensive line really needs stability with so many new faces. I think the pass rush will be fine, the secondary has the talent but needs to demonstrate it, Orr needs to tighten up the D in the fourth quarter and the O-line, somehow, has to create holes for Henry and give time for Lamar to throw. If they don't win, they at least have to show improvement from week to week.
  20. Can't really explain it but I'm beginning to think the Ravens pull this one out. If they play up to their potential and the secondary gets straightened out, we all might be feeling better Monday. The Bills aren't really scaring me.
  21. What to say...another very tough game coming up. But we're at home, the offense improved last week. If only the D can avert a last quarter collapse, they actually may have a chance. As usual it won't be a relaxing game. I just hope it is a W somehow at the end.
  22. Ah! I stand corrected. I though Rossberg retired the season before last. Man, time does fly when you get old!
  23. The only thing that's different from when he was money on every attempt, is that our long time ST coach retired.
  24. No. I agree but let’s rule out physical errors first. Shouldn’t take that long to analyze.
  25. I have no problem with getting a sports psychologist in but the ST coach and Tuck need to analyze what has happened on each miss to see if it may be the snap or holder first.
