While my days of going to games has been over for a few years I am still a fan and will watch every game intensely this year and record them as well.
-
QB salaries seem to have no upper limit, cap or no cap. This rate of increase can't go on forever.
-
Hmmm...both Andrews(quad) and OBJ(ankle) limited in Thursday practice.
-
Yeah, Max, we miss your analyses! Hope you and yours are OK and you get to drop by here soon.
-
Can't really predict a score in this one. Let's just say we should win going away against a rookie qb and coach in their first start. What I'm really looking forward to the most is what the revamped offense will look like and how the defense can compensate for injuries in the secondary and lack of a proven pass rush. Anyway, I'll be glad to watching a real football game for a change. It's been a long time coming.

Well, if Huntley is healthy, it would make sense to cut Brown loose and fill that spot with a CB. He must be healthy enough to at the very least fill in if both Lamar and Huntley went down---an unlikely occurrence.
-
The need at CB is much higher. Or should I say, desperate? Harbs says Andrews will return to practice Wednesday.
-
Just read where he is going to start the season on the four-week Non-football Injury list.
-
That's a good question. Last I read he wasn't progressing as fast as hoped.
-
Yay! Johnson made the 53 after all! I mean he's not great but I think he's better than Brown or Huntley with a hamstring injury. Urban is also back on the 53, not that I expected any different...we played that game with him last year too.
-
Just saw where they added Melvin Gordon and Daryl Worley to the PS. I'm sorry they put Brown on the PS rather than Josh Johnson who is still available. I'm not sure Tyler will be ready to go in 2 weeks what with his hamstring issue.
-
Mustipher might be back on the 53 sometime too if he isn't taken by another team.
-
Well, I guess Kyu Kelly is a lost draft pick. Too bad he didn't pan out. We need all the healthy corners we can find at this point.
-
Hard to predict the final standings for AFC North. Too many really good or potentially really good teams. I'm just hoping for an exciting, entertaining season with a lack of injuries and with us making the playoffs and the offense looking potent and the defense remaining competent.
-
Thanks for the rip, Grubber. I’ll check it out. I also read that Urban will be back on the 53. Ross is going to the practice squad I believe.
-
Cutting Mustipher was somewhat surprising. Who is the backup center?
-
I guess Wallace beat out Treadwell. Proche had his chances here but he actually seemed to decline as time has gone on. Too many drops. Too few, if any, big plays.
-
So I guess Keaton Mitchell makes it.
-
Sun predicts Josh Ross will wind up on the practice squad. I guess we'll know for sure tomorrow.
-
Gee they've started already. The Brownies had to trade for a kicker. Makes you appreciate even more Justin.
-
I'll be surprised if they can keep Josh Johnson unless they put him on the 53 which I don't think they'll do. Another team is going to pick him up after his strong showing in this last game. Mitchell might wind up on PUP with his shoulder or even IR if the Ravens try to hide him until next year. Still he has a chance, I think, to be kept instead of Gordon. Yeah, I couldn't find anything informative about Ross's current status either. Week 1 will tell us a lot more about what the team is really like than all the preseason games put together.
-
Well, Josh Johnson and the 2's looked pretty good on offense. Defense was lacking. But it's so hard to judge the team when it's preseason and no regulars are playing. Heck, for most of the game it was our 3rd and 4th stringers...guys that won't even be on the team in a week. I would have liked to see Huntley play a little but I guess his injury hasn't healed yet. Didn't see Keaton Mitchell playing RB. Is he hurt too? Worried a bit about Mike Andrews and his 'undisclosed' injury. He wasn't even on the sideline. Hopefully, nothing is going on there. In two weeks we'll see Lamar, OBJ, Flowers, et. al., on offense and we'll see the Roquan-led defense in action. Looking forward to week 1 to see what we've really got.

The NFL doesn't give a squat about the players' well-being though they sure pretend that they do.
-
Things are definitely looking up and I hope it continues!!

Gee some good news on the injury front...reinforcements have arrived: https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/rock-ya-sin-arthur-maulet-ravens-practice-cornerback-healthier
