That would be the best way to describe this loss. Flacco- 5 interceptions? 23 passes to 1 run in the second half? Over 200 running yards given up by our front 7? The better team definitely won today. Our only saving grace today? Cincy & Pittsburgh lost too. Expect alot of criticism on this level of play by the Ravens and rightfully so.
Allow me to settle this. Ravens got our A'sses handed to us on national TV. Next week, came home to barely beat a bad team. Then played lights out in a statement game vs. the Texans. I'd say we are getting better every game. The think I liked best about this game? Now i know we can beat anybody.
I went to the game and after I got home, checked to see if the DVR taped the game. I turned it on only to hear 'ole mushmouth Dierdorff saying" Flacco and the offense was bad. No thanks to them for the win." I can't stand that guy.
Yeah, it was an ugly win, but I'll still take it. It's obvious that Flacco has very few targets downfield, Like I said in July, it's going to be until October 'til this offense gets into sinc. We need the D to step it up like they did today.
You all are forgetting something. This is our homecoming-celebrate the superbowl championship-Ray Lewis banner day. 70,000 screaming raven maniacs. A pizzed off Raven team after a national embarrassment. A very pumped up football team. A defense that has something to prove. Yeah, we will be good. It's the Raven way.
