  1. I'm talking about the new receiving corps. Here they are: Wide receiver (six) Michael Crabtree Willie Snead IV John Brown Chris Moore Jordan Lasley Janarion Grant I like hearing this.... And this.... When you factor in that the passing game was miserable and inconsistent last year, then any upgrade will turn the Winning Meter skyward. These guys have to attack the ball and make plays.
  2. Practice Squad.... SUNDAY Signed (practice squad): CB Cyrus Jones (Source: Adam Kaplan) The 2016 second-round pick didn't pan out for the New England Patriots, but he'll reportedly get a second chance back home. A star at Gilman School in Baltimore, Jones went on to Alabama, where he became a standout cornerback and returner. He played in 10 games for the Patriots as a rookie, but missed his entire sophomore season because of a torn ACL in last year's final preseason game. Signed (practice squad): RB De'Lance Turner (Source: Penn Live) The Ravens had three undrafted running backs stand out this summer with De'Lance Turner, Mark Thompson and Gus Edwards. For now, Turner is the only one reportedly on the practice squad. The undrafted rookie out of Alcorn State ripped off a 65-yard touchdown in Miami, then had a nifty 28-yard run against Washington. He has shown good feet and quickness. Signed (practice squad): OG Nico Siragusa (Source: The Athletic) The Ravens are bringing back 2016 fourth-round offensive lineman Nico Siragusa, who was part of the team's cuts Saturday. Siragusa is still working his way fully back from major knee surgery a year ago, but has definitely improved over the summer. Signed (practice squad): WR Tim White (Source: The Athletic) Baltimore picked undrafted rookie Janarion Grant for the 53-man roster but is reportedly keeping wide receiver/returner Tim White on the practice squad as a reserve option. White flashed his talent as an undrafted rookie last year before spending the season on injured reserve (broken hand). Signed (practice squad): OL Randin Crecelius (Source: Brett Tessler) The undrafted rookie out of Portland State was among the Ravens' best backup offensive linemen and showed position flexibility.

  4. They did it again! Fun game to watch despite the delay (I caught a Labor Day nap). Texas fans really don't want to see Maryland on their schedule. They handled honoring McNair with class...
  5. Looks like they cleaned house of players who are projects or not reaching their potential. Some of these players are still serviceable but you can't win championships with that.
  6. Here's the rest: T Randin Crecelius NT Carl Davis RB Gus Edwards FB Christopher Ezeala DE Myles Humphrey DE Bronson Kaufusi G Cameron Lee WR Andre Levrone TE Vince Mayle LB Albert McClellan WR Breshad Perriman G Maurquice Shakir G Nico Siragusa RB Mark Thompson RB De’Lance Turner WR Tim White QB Josh Woodrum Placed on IR: P/K Kaare Vedvik
  7. That is one of those questions with no answer. Why would anyone be there at 4 am? I feel bad for the guy. Comes to Baltimore hoping to build a future and career and gets mugged.
  8. Here's an update: Cut/Waived players TE Nick Keizer [Zrebiec] CB Robertson Daniel G/T Andrew Donnal OL Justin Evans DE Christian LaCouture DB Kai Nacua CB Jackson Porter WR DeVier Posey LS Trent Sieg Waived Injured ILB Alvin Jones Placed on Injured Reserve: DB DeShon Elliott DB Bennett Jackson CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste T Greg Senat Staying on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform: ILB Bam Bradley CB Jaylen Hill WR Quincy Adeboyejo
  9. I screwed up. I created an opportunity to spew more venom.
  10. and Bellicheat isn't? Harbaugh is 100 times a better man than you are.
  11. It's ok. He read the same scripted and prepared statement all NFL players say. "admitting to insider trading and saying he accepts "full responsibility for my actions""..."I sincerely apologize to my coaches, the owners, and my teammates on the Eagles and the Browns, the NFL, and the magnificent fans to whom I owe my career," Kendricks said in the statement. "I also apologize to my family, who I have failed in this. You all deserve better, and I will work my hardest to re-earn your trust and respect, serve as an advocate to educate others, and show you that I will never be involved in anything like this again." Now...if you turn to page 26 of your ER posters manual you can read the actual translation on the above statement "I didn't feel bad at all until I got caught. i sure as hell wasn't going to tell anybody or confess. But I'll read this statement because it gets everybody off. I mean....I'm sorry. Can you keep paying me...please?"
  12. Hurst and Henry are really good yet there is depth to make up for their loss. I've seen enough of Hurst to think he'll be as good or better than Pita. He's not Todd Heap...yet. Henry needed time to develop and he's coming along well. I believe he emerges out of the pack this year. I'm very glad the Ravens were able to stash him his rookie season.
  13. At least they got something for him. I wonder if this was Ozzie's or Eric's move.
  14. Today's "I'm from Missouri" observation: Crabtree, Brown and Snead have to prove it. There are plenty of good reports about them yet it's "only on paper." We've seen plenty of ageing vets come here and age...mellow out. Do the Ravens have play makers here? Will we see a significant increase in production from the WR Corps?
  15. That o line Saturday night sucked! No depth there. I would love to see 11-5. What a season that would be. Oh...I am concerned about Tucker. He just doesn't seem to have his MoJo this year. Maybe put him on a distance limit like Billick had Stover. Then again....they may score a ton of TD's and not need him as much.
  16. and they have Lamar Jackson and that spells disaster! Doomed!
  17. BTW.....anybody getting tired with the line they all say after they get caught, "I take full responsibility, I apologize to the fans, my teammates, the organization... blah, blah, blah" It's the magic phrase, Everybody says it and then you're off the hook. And make sure you look remorseful.
  18. Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson Spells Disaster for ENTIRE ORGANIZATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH SHIT!!!!!!!!!!! We're fucked. It's over. I DIDN'T KNOW THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. It's the media who views him as Flacco's replacement and they are badly uninformed because they do not watch tape. He's a project. He needs a year or 2 to develop. Taylor needed more time. He was the 32nd pick. Not the first or 5th or 10th. 2 preseason games....give him a break.
  20. If it's true...and the NFL seems to think there is sufficient evidence to suspend him, then this is hypocritical. If he was down the depth chart then he would be gone. I'm done with him.
  21. The good ones come here to learn from the best. He's smart. He knew that if he came here it would lead to a starting job on another team this year.
  22. This is why they get paid the big bucks. To make decisions like this. Look at all the injuries last year. The Ravens shifted players all over the place and special teams. In this respect, keeping a 3rd QB would be business as usual. Other players will have to step up.
  23. as of 8/18/18.
