  1. Joe had an excellent night. He had a perfect QB rating at the end of the 1st quarter and finished 8 for 13 for 137 yards and a 10. 5 ypp with 1 TD. He also lead 2 more scoring drives and we all know about the Gilmore TD that was called back. Steve Smith looked great. The 1st unit D was excellent also. They stopped the run and shut out the Re!#$^#$ O. Intangible: Steve Smith's aggressive attitude has been picked up by all 3 of the Ravens TE's. It was telling what we didn't see. Trestman knows his 3 TE's can beat the LB's and safeties, run over them and move the chains. Knowing that, he is not testing the middle of the field, but he will....when the season begins. We have seen enough of Crockett and Williams bowling over tacklers. Boyle was a man among boys during mop up. He was pushing around anybody in front of him. Joe has a major weapons arsenal here....bye bye Pita.
  2. Matt Schaub, Walker, Pointer, Jackson, Allen, Jah Reid, Jones Take a seat with these guys..........
  3. They gave up 396 yards.....31POINTS!!!!.... 31! Chew on that. Unanswered.....ponder that Offense! No sacks. 24 first downs. 24! And just like last year, they wilt on 3rd down... The secondary can't tackle. Not much of a pass rush. 2 minutes!?....
  4. I left at halftime. When Schaub came in and they couldn't punch it in on 3 plays at the goal line so why not try for 4 and fumble....I could see the meltdown coming. There were tons of "Make this play and make the team" moments. Nobody made the play. Lot's of opportunities to shine, but now they are "Gone With The Wind." First time that I am doubting this coaching staff.
  5. 25 carries (not enough Trestman!), 55 yards, for a whopping 2.2 ypc. This was the Indigenous Persons who they were up against....and they got bullied. At first I was wondering about Buck Allen because he showed me nothing...but what can anybody do with a line that takes a half hour to get off the ball? I guess we have to take a leap of faith here that KO and Monroe will return and this line will pick up where they left off last year. Forsett thinks so in his post game comments. I will say that I can think of 2 pre seasons during the Ray Rice era where the Ravens could not run at all, but they did just fine in the regular season.
  6. 2.4 ypa. Against the 2's! Oh! He also had a fumble. I flipped out when he took the field. I wanted to see Joe finish the half because he really needs live game action with his inexperienced receivers to get some kind of familiarity, trust and timing down. He wasn't getting beat up. The Ravens brass out thought themselves here in their back up QB search. I can hear their thinking: "Well how about Schaub? He was in Gary's system and at one time, he put up great numbers. He's an experienced vet who could also give Joe some pointers. He's be a great option....perfect fit. Problem solved." They forgot to call Gary who would have said, "He cost me my job!" They forgot to call Oakland who would have said, "The man is done. Burned out with no confidence." He's the same head case as Grbac! They forgot that they would have to give a 2 year contract, which in essence, is dead money against the CAP. They ignored what their eyes saw on Schaub the last few years and instead listened to faulty logic. Now they are stuck with this albatross. Seriously....I left at halftime. I knew what was coming. And it came. What do you think Hensley?
  7. "You just made that up. I know what your brain is capable of producing."
  8. "Unseen they suffer"...are they talking about their husbands?

  10. Oh...and fossil fuels are good for the environment!? They cause no damage and smog and oil spills are attractive...right? And try pricing what it's going to cost to keep humanity from extinction. But don't worry, when your home is 10' under the ocean surf, it wash those roof stains right off.
  11. Favorite: Ravens If the Ravens win the division, and that is one of their stated goals, then it's going to be a one hell of a mountain to climb. They will have to best the teams in the toughest division in football and best one of the hardest schedules in team history. They are really up against it but that's the cards they have been dealt. Going to be one hell of a long wild ride.
  12. actually...it makes you want to shed a tear....
  13. This team is wiped out....
  14. I doubt it. Maybe spot duty.
  15. It's time to do that. This same situation is on the defense....wanting to make plays rather than staying discipline and stay "home."
  16. Here's something positive on Obama. He gets it.....
  17. Just a guess here.....they are not staying in their lanes because they want to make the big hit and get a roster spot. This leaves gaps that returners exploit.
  18. Taliaferro is out for a month so he'll get more touches. Let's see what he can do against the 1's.
  19. The whole team broke down and looked very bad. Nothing was clearer than last night on this being a team sport. All it takes is 1 player, on one play, to blow his assignment or get a penalty and it negates the efforts of the other 10 players. Do this enough, like the Ravens did last night, and you get blown out of the stadium. This team is not as deep as we thought.
  20. He won't be starting opening day.
