Observation #1. There is definitely chemistry between Bateman and Huntley. In a little more than a half, Bateman hauled in 7 passes for 103 yards. and almost got his first TD. He was a big part of the comeback along with Andrews. Observation #2; I'm sure we're split on the decision to go for the 2. I wanted to kick the extra point. I can see a decent argument for the opposite. I'd rather know it's a 1 score game. But is it? It's really 2 scores with a TD needed and a 2 point conversion needed. Observation #3: Huntley is better than 1/3rd of the starting QB's in this league. He came into the game cold and down by what??? 17 -18 points? Threw 7 for 38. 270 yards. 99.7 1 TD. QB rating. Ran for 45 yards with a 7.5 ypc. Led 4 scoring drives. The 2 fumbles were killers. Observation #4: With Humphrey gone we now see that the Ravens cannot get any better this year. Not possible. It's survival mode from here on out. Observation #5; Although it took 20 years we can now say we lived to see the Ravens recover an onside kick. And Tucker had another amazing game. Observation #6: Once they got 4 PI's out of their system....How about that shut out 2nd half by the No Quit Ravens D!

Boykin (finger), TE Nick Boyle (knee), RT Pat Mekari (hand), DB Jimmy Smith Ricard and Boyle out is big deal as far as ability to help OTs against Garrett/Clowney. Smith was not on injury report. 44 degrees and sunny in Cleveland at kick off. It will be windy...18mph winds with gusts up to 25 mph. Just a Thought: One thing that will greatly improve the Ravens chances of winning today is TO NOT THROW 4 INTERCEPTIONS. I mean...just saying......

Two Thumbs Up! Jamison Hensley on Twitter “ Good injury news alert for Ravens: Baltimore had only TWO players absent from Friday’s practice: CB Jimmy Smith and OT Patrick Mekari. The Steelers are done. Time to get some separation in the North. "The Steel curtain looked more like a cheese cloth.... In the aftermath, the splendid sprinter out of Florida State graciously told Fox sideline reporter Erin Andrews that with the holes blown in Pittsburgh’s defense by his offensive line, she could have done serious damage herself. “You could have got the ball and ran through,” Cook gushed on the postgame TVGene Collier: Don't be fooled by late surge — Steelers-Vikings was over before it began | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Update: Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Ravens practice report Thursday ABSENT: FB Patrick Ricard (back), RT Patrick Mekari (hand), TE Nick Boyle (knee), LT Alejandro Villanueva*, NT Brandon Williams* RETURN: CB Anthony Averett (knee), DE Calais Campbell (illness), DB Anthony Levine (knee) *-Likely rest days” Here's my keen insight for today: Go Vikings! The Ravens will take care of business somehow Sunday. The Bengals stumble again and once again...the Sun Shines in Baltimore! Everybodys going to gobble each other up for the next 5 weeks. It's like that fish movie....NEMO!.......The Ravens just have to "Keep Swimming!"

Buy or Sell: This must happen for the Ravens to make the Playoffs..."A dominant front seven could give them new life. It’s the only thing they’ve got at this time."

“Ravens transactions today ... footballDesignated OT Ja'Wuan James (Achilles) to return to practice footballPlaced CB Marlon Humphrey on IR footballActivated CB Kevon Seymour from the reserve/COVID-19 list” “Ravens had 8 players, including 3 defensive backs, not practicing Wednesday: CB Anthony Averett (shoulder/ankle) S Chuck Clark DB Anthony Levine FB Patrick Ricard (foot/thigh) OT Patrick Mekari (hand) TE Nick Boyle (knee) DE Calais Campbell OLB Justin Houston”
-
And this has to change immediately for any chance to win Sunday....players were open all the time....
-
OK........ the Corners are Averett, Smith and Young. Stephens can be moved around in a pinch to help out. You have Clark, Stone and Levine for safeties. The Front 7 is in good shape to stop the run. Now...in the current situation it has to be now or never......they must get a ton of FAST HEAT on the QB to help these guys out. The Ravens season is down to that. The Offense will figure it out. They still have plenty of talent, even with the holes.

In other news: Give a High 5 to Maryland for breaking news for the last few days on snow coming tomorrow. The state has salted all the roads...BECAUSE....there is a 22% chance of getting 0.1 inches! Yes...0.1. Buy or Sell: We are ridiculous.
-
I'm not surrendering to that. Yea...it can certainly happen, yet I think there is still more in the tank and character for this team and organization. Again, yes it can happen. Especially since all football logic says no team can overcome this...

What Belecheat did was smart and dictated by the weather 23 degree wind chill and up to 50mph gusts. He wouldn't do that in decent weather. The Ravens ran the ball 43 times for 148 yards and 3.4 ypc. week 12 against the Browns. Lamar had 68 of those yards. Freeman averaged 3.3ypc. Murray 1.8. They passed 32 times. weather forecast 41 degrees and partly sunny in Cleveland on Sunday. So...the Ravens did what you ask..run 40-50 times....they ran 43 times.
-
Buy or Sell: If he (Lamar) plays well over the final stretch of the year, Baltimore might be able to overcome their brutal injury luck and make a run in the postseason. You're buying on an "IF"
-
I'll sell. Lamar is struggling and perhaps having his worse season. Yet the F.O is not stupid. They know this is a 4-8 team without him. He'll get Franchise Market money. They have made their minds up and are preparing for this. Or...they can travel this route again until they get lucky and find one.... ason Regular season Playoffs 1996 Vinny Testaverde (16) 1997 Vinny Testaverde (13) / Eric Zeier (3) 1998 Jim Harbaugh (12) / Eric Zeier (4) 1999 Tony Banks (10) / Stoney Case (4) / Scott Mitchell (2) 2000 Tony Banks (8) / Trent Dilfer (8) Trent Dilfer (4–0) 2001 Elvis Grbac (14) / Randall Cunningham (2) Elvis Grbac (1–1) 2002 Jeff Blake (10) / Chris Redman (6) 2003 Kyle Boller (9) / Anthony Wright (7) Anthony Wright (0–1) 2004 Kyle Boller (16) 2005 Kyle Boller (9) / Anthony Wright (7) 2006 Steve McNair (16) Steve McNair (0–1) 2007 Kyle Boller (8) / Steve McNair (6) / Troy Smith (2) 2008 Joe Flacco (16) Joe Flacco (2–1) 2009 Joe Flacco (16) Joe Flacco (1–1) 2010 Joe Flacco (16) Joe Flacco (1–1) 2011 Joe Flacco (16) Joe Flacco (1–1) 2012 Joe Flacco (16) Joe Flacco (4–0) 2013 Joe Flacco (16) 2014 Joe Flacco (16) Joe Flacco (1–1) 2015 Joe Flacco (10) / Matt Schaub (2) / Jimmy Clausen (2) / Ryan Mallett (2) 2016 Joe Flacco (16) 2017 Joe Flacco (16) 2018 Joe Flacco (9) / Lamar Jackson (7) Lamar Jackson (0–1) 2019 Lamar Jackson (15) / Robert Griffin III (1) Lamar Jackson (0–1) 2020 Lamar Jackson (15) / Robert Griffin III (1) Lamar Jackson (1–1) 2021 Lamar Jackson (11) / Tyler Huntley (1)

1pm Sunday at Cleveland. Ravens win probability 46.2%. So What!!! "You know, if you can take some of these things and look at them for what they are and say, ‘Oh, that’s interesting,’ in terms of do I perceive it in a bigger way, like the ball … Like the miracle in Detroit, what does that say? It’s incredible," Harbaugh said. "Oh, well we didn’t have the miracle against Pittsburgh. What does that mean?’ What does it mean? It means it didn’t happen. So, what’s next? … There’s an old story that [asks], ‘Who is going to go?’ ‘Send me, I’ll go.’ Don’t we all have to make that choice in life? Are you going to go? Or are you not going to go? Kind of ‘woe is me’ to your question, [but] I’m going to go. I know you guys all in your lives feel the same way; you’re going to go. "So, we’re going to go, man. We’re going to go. We can’t wait. We’ll be going to Cleveland, I promise you.” Team Stats Points Per Game 23.5 21.2 Points Allowed Per Game 21.7 22.3 Total Yards 407.3 372.0 Yards Passing 260.3 224.9 Yards Rushing 147.1 147.1 Yards Allowed 371.8 332.6 Pass Yards Allowed 287.5 227.3 Rush Yards Allowed 84.3 105.3
