Transcript of Ukrainian woman to Russian soldier. This is inspiring and blows me away. It speaks to the solid will, courage and determination of the citizens of Ukraine. .Video of Woman Confronting Russian Soldiers Goes Viral—'What the F*** Are You Doing Here?' (newsweek.com)

Yea that was good. I wish Lamar would sign before Free Agency for his own good, the good of the team and the organization. Lamar is a master at being mysterious and different. It's not an ideal situation for the Ravens but it beats trying to find a QB who can lead you to the playoffs and further this year in the NFL. Pickings are slim for Free Agency, trades and the draft. I looked hard at who a team might be able to get. Not appetizing.

They upgraded the training room too....

Five Players to Watch at Combine: Offensive Tackle (baltimoreravens.com)

I think they will. I can see losing Bozeman (who I want to stay). Then picking up Jensen. They need a guy who can swing between RT and LT in case Stanley doesn't make it. Amazingly the 2021 Ravens Offense was the 6th ranked Offense in total yards. They were 17th in total points scored which is a statistic that I feel is more important than yards. They were 13th in passing and 4th in rushing. Freeman actually averaged 4.3 ypc. Murray 4.2. Williams comes in at 5.3. That's not bad considering the amount of injuries. There must be something worth salvaging on the line and some areas that must be strengthened. This is a Big If ....IF Stanley, JK and Gus come back 100% and James surprises everyone and turns in a solid season.....welll..... Happy Days Are Here Again! "You win and lose in the trenches, and that’s where it starts,” Harbaugh said. "Yes, you’ve got to have playmakers … but no skill player can do anything without the lines in front of them doing that work. So, to me, and in our offense especially, it’s just critically important that we have a really good offensive line.”

It sounds crazy but I'm feeling it. Lamar's working out again.... ravens on Instagram: PRO via @new_era8 I'm feeling #3 on the way this year. The Ravens by virtue of finishing last in the division have the 4th easiest schedule. They don't have the bullseye on their back. The Bengals do. It's not possible to have even half as many injuries as they had last year. Covid better be gone by the fall. After watching the AFC this year Parity Rules. There are no dominant teams or the 10-7 Bengals would not have made it to the SB. Lamar is hungry and pissed as shit. He does not like all the disrespect that get's thrown at him. Most of it is unwarranted and mean. Gus and JK are HUNGRY!!!!! I think the whole locker room is. Peters, Humphry, Ricard, Brown, Bateman. Andrews. Oweh. Queen, Tucker. Duverney. All of them have this real nasty taste in their mouth because everybody kicked them hard when they were down. Now let's have a fair fight.

Right now there is no decent starting O line. Here's the line that I see before any additions in Free Agency and the draft. If Bozeman goes that leaves them with Mekari at Center. Zeitler at RG and Juan James at RT. Not terrible but not dominant right side. We have to hope James comes back 100% healthy and fired up. Where are they if he's 70%? I guess 70% James is better than 100% Villanueva. I see this as a barely serviceable right side. Stanley at LT. Or is he? I certainly hope he does have a 100% full recovery however I can't trust him ever making it back. No wheels = career is over. Phillip/Powers/Cleveland at RG. Having that many guys tells me the Ravens don't have a RG. You can't go 17 games with that. Well you can, but don't expect to win many games. Best case at the moment? Stanley comes back 100%. One of the Cleveland/Phillips/Powers group takes the next step up and wins the LG spot outright. They resign Bozeman. Zeitler is solid. James comes back 100% and does a good job at RT. Eric....I guess us...can hope for that.

The prices are crazy. No way I could afford to take my whole family to one game, park, concessions....and then if the game is a clunker like the Bengal game...... Yea. I'm leaving the stadium not feeling good.

It's expensive yet it's so much fun.

Burrows can take his cigar smoking act and shove it up his ass.
-
It doesn't matter to me who wins. If I have to pick then I'd like to see Darnold and the Rams get it. There's some kind of arrogance/disrespect thing coming out of Cincy that turns me off. So we have the Rams D line and Ramsey trying to silence Burrows and Co. And we have a Bengals O and D that seems to just get just enough done to hang in and win. It should be a very good game.

147 republican members of Congress took a stand for "Authoritarian pseudo-democracies" They abandoned their Oath to Us and to the Constitution. They abandoned the principles and morals that make for trustworthy character. They sold their souls. We know who these spineless characters are, and we have a duty to make sure that they are not re-elected. Here's an important article because we are in perilous times.... At last the Republican Party comes clean: It stands for terrorism and Trump, against democracy (msn.com) Don't look Up!

"Our inability this year to create turnovers was probably an issue for us, and I would love to see us make the play this year coming up – intercept more passes, cause more fumbles, be more disruptive. So, if the opportunity presents itself and we see a dynamic corner or a dynamic safety, of course, that would be something that would be attractive to us." Eric DeCosta

"We're excited. We have nine draft picks at this time in the first four rounds. We're not sure exactly how that's going to break down and where those picks will be in the first four rounds, but we know we have nine picks in the first four rounds. For me, as I look at it and as we project and we model and see where those picks will fall … If you think about our list, our master list, if we have 100 players ranked, we feel like all of those nine picks will probably come within our Top 80 players. So, if we do our job correctly, if we stack the board the right way [and] if we're able to play the combinations correctly – what I mean by that is drafting the players with an eye toward maximizing each pick positionally – I think we have a really good chance to build some serious and quality depth to help this team be the best it can be." Eric DeCosta Penning is incredible. I doubt that he will be there at #14. Faalele is a beast. The Ravens can't lose if they get him.

UPDATE!: Macdonald is bringing in a pal, Ryan Osborn from Michigan. His DE coach. "As Michigan’s defensive ends coach, Osborn likely worked closely with Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo — one of the top edge rusher duos in the country." If this guy can use his genie-in-a-bottle magic elixir on the Ravens DE's life will be good! https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-ravens-adding-michigan-s-ryan-osborn-to-defensive-coaching-staff/ar-AATvyY7?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531

Here's the full transcript of Eric's Presser....EVP & GM Eric DeCosta Press Conference Transcript (baltimoreravens.com) I thought it was very detailed and revealing. He addressed every issue and said what he could publicly on controversial topics. You give the media an inch and they will take a mile to sound controversial or sensational. OK...He didn't tell us who he's drafting, signing, or how many O and D lineman he's getting. I will forgive him for that. He couldn't definitively say that Stanley will be back 100% for training camp and playing like his old self because he isn't God. 2022 Off season. This is his make-or-break hour. And the Ravens.
-
As soon as the transcript is posted I'll get it here. All I can say is that listening to Eric leaves you feeling that the Ravens organization is in great hands. The guy is so smooth, fast, intelligent and preceptive. He also holds himself accountable and says where he fell short or failed. And he looks like a hitman so don't mess with him... Her's some statements... “Eric DeCosta on Lamar Jackson contract talks: "This is an unusual negotiation, because I've been dealing with the player. For me to talk about any specifics would be prohibitive." DeCosta said he's spoken to Jackson five or six times over the past year about his contract.” Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said he's talked to Lamar Jackson five or six times over the past year in regards to his contract. "At this point, we're working at Lamar's pace," DeCosta said. "We will operate at his urgency,"”The Ravens have the salary cap flexibility to handle Lamar Jackson’s fifth-year option, but ‘nothing has changed’ on their feelings about him. “He wants to win the division. He wants to win the Super Bowl. I think he and I both share that same vision.” “It’s probably my mistake,” DeCosta said Friday at his postseason news conference. “I don’t want to use [the word] assuming, but I was expecting Ronnie would come back this year, full strength. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. There’s probably a lot of blame to go around. “Ultimately, I’m the guy who has to talk to the various doctors and trainers and make a decision and determination at that position. My understanding and belief was that Ronnie would come back this year and play really good football for us, and be healthy and be strong and be ready to go. He wasn’t. That was a big setback.” “I can’t really comment on his rehab at this point,” he said. “But I’m optimistic and I truly believe that Ronnie’s going to be back this year and play good football, play winning football and become, again, the Ronnie Stanley that is an All-Pro left tackle.” “DeCosta: "I love Marcus (Peters). I talk to him all the time. Marcus is one of these guys that when he comes to the organization, he provides such an authentic perspective. He's a Raven. I would expect Marcus to be here."” “Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said he expects the team to pick up the fifth-year option on WR Marquise "Hollywood" Brown. The Ravens have to exercise that option by May, which would keep Brown under contract through 2023.” “DeCosta said that the offensive line will definitely be a point of emphasis this offseason. "For us to be the very best offense we can be, we've got to have a strong, commanding offensive line. Read it and weep, papa..... “DeCosta on John Harbaugh: "I don't think there's a better head coach in the National Football League. I couldn't imagine any situation standing here today where I wouldn't want to be with Coach Harbaugh for many years to come."”
