Wow! Great photos Dee. Real cool that you went there. I have been to Alaska once and will never forget it. Got caught in a white out [insane experience], landed on a frozen lake....the high was 31 degrees which was summer for the bikers...they were riding in tee shirts...on the snow....met an Eskimo princess and the woman who was that kids Mom in the movie 'Mask,.. .17 more minutes of sunlight every day I was there.

I think they are on track for .500....right where many predicted. The starting pitching is decent...without their supposedly best starter. They have had injuries. The bats have been weak...so they can do as well or better than they have. Now...they can't beat the really good teams...just not there yet... but .500 looks like it will happen.

"....and the Baltimore Orioles were sent out into the weeping and knashing of teeth...."
-
The sad thing is...with no football to talk about, I've been trying real hard to watch the Orioles....but they hurt my brain. After a decade of basicly not watching them, the game seems real long and boring. Then again, their performance has a lot to do with that. No hitting and the relief pitching just rips your guts out.

Can't find my horse yet and times running out. I like Astrology as a "Show" horse and I'm looking real hard at Dialed In to upset the favorite Animal Kingdom....but I'm not sold on him. My gut says he's a pretender. Animal Kingdom has a great shot at winning Saturday....this is a damn good horse. He showed that he's a Champ in the Derby and just might dust the rest on Saturday. My gut says it will be another long shot who wins and surprises everybody....but who? Last night was rough but so was tonights 1st inning. 5-0 Stankies. Scared to watch anymore....maybe Buck can pitch.

If it became like baseball, then they would lose me. We'd be watching Dan Snyder scoop up Ray Lewis, Ogden, Ngata. Suggs, Ray Rice, Ed Reed and the Indigenous Persons going 14-2 every year. Ticket prices, which are getting too high for me to justify, would be out of reach. I feel like they are pushing the limits to extract every cent they can get from fans now. It's a legal stick up. The majority of fans would wake up the same as the Browns fans. That's what we would have to look forward to year after year. That's enough rersentment for me to say fuck this. I can't imagine a senario like this comming to pass...They couldn't be that stupid could they???...but it is possible.
-
If you really want to puke....really want to get scared...read Collinsworth's possible future senario that he told Peter King. I respect both men, their experience and opinions... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/peter_king/05/15/mmqb/index.html?sct=nfl_wr_a1

Oh...they're going to cave...

The Owners have the upper hand... This season looks like it's wrecked. Be prepared to see some shabby football....around October.

Hey...the O's are 21st in the power rankings.... http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/powerRankings?GT1=39010 I'll watch some tonight...Britton's pitching. Worried how they'll rebound from last night. I've seen games like this throw them in a 2 month funk....or was it 2 year? There was some Mothers Day game they blew real bad....way back...a hundred years ago...remember? Red Sox maybe??? It killed their season. Their heads exploded. Very memorable...for the pain.
-
Looks like I went to bed at the right time.
-
5-0 over Sox looking good...it would be sweeet if the O's can hang on and get the win.
-
They are right at .500 after a tough opening schedule. The pitching has been very good and finally the bats woke up.

Here's a mock re-draft from ESPN on the 2008 class.... http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=6528474 It has Ray Rice going off the board at #4 and Flacco at #10. The #1 pick???? Matt Ryan....who hasn't won a playoff game yet.
-
"My thoughts coincide with yours, therefore, I concur." Let's play out this 5 year highly probable and plausable plan of yours... Key Ravens draft picks [after Ogden and Ray] before they won the Super Bowl were Jamal Lewis, McAlister, Stokeley, Dwayne Starks, Sharper, Jermaine Lewis and Boulware. Key Ravens draft picks since 2008 draft are Oher, and Webb. The jury is out on the 2010 class of Kindle, Cody, Dixon, Pita, Jones and Harewood. They may all be solid contributers when the Ravens hoist the SB trophy this year or next... I think one reason Ozzie isn't sweating the OT position is because of Harewood...and he may still have Gaither. Then there is this years class...The Smith brothers are huge additions. Doss, Brown and Reid may be solid contributers as well. Jury still out. BUT....remember...McAlister, Starks, and Sharper didn't hit stride untill 2000. Jermaine had a career year that year. In 1999 that team went 7-9. Few holes on this Ravens 2011 team...just like 2000. It has playoff experience unlike the 1999-2000 roster. There is one thing missing....can they get that nasty, 60 minute smashmouth attitude the 2000 unit had?

This next step crav...

This is what I'm talking about!...

I know dc...and there's no word that rhymes with orange except Chykie. I think it has a mysterious connection with the dead language of Cthulhu.
-
Excuse me for a moment... Does Chykie = Shockee????? It hurts my eyes! It burns! Let's be truthfull here...NO FRIGGN'N WAY! It spells ...maybe...if I stretch it...Shy-kee or Chi-k-ee or... There is no "O or A" sound in Y! NONE! It's like saying vmax is pronounced "He To Whom All Must Bow!" "First Name My Mouth Can't Pronounce" Brown. "He Who Can't Spell" Brown. "The First Name That Hurts My Brain" Brown. Sorry...carry on.
-
I'm shocked! I can't help thinking if Jorden Williams was comming back this wouldn't be happening.
-
I see Zibby and Nakamura battling it out for the spot next to Reed. Unpronouncable Mis-spelled First Name Brown would be a great player there too but I see his immediate future as a corner/nickle back. I also think Cody will be a force in thne middle with Ngata. You can get a glimpse of where this team is evolving too in the future. They are getting younger while maintaining the talent level. IMO...."IF" Joe takes this step then the sky's the limit. Big IF. Lock out and all...it's a level playing field for all the teams.
-
Let's debunk the Myth...The "Great Class" Bullshit. They couldn't field a winner for 50 years. They knew their team was strung out on Roids in the 70's and looked the other way. Rthsslxssbrrgrrr???? "So what he's a scumbag! We need him!" Mendenhall??? He'll be starting 2011 despite what he says about women, slavery, Bin Laden and the World Trade attack. He's too important to let go. The trurth is...they're no different or better than.... the other owners...
-
The news on Kindles recovery keeps sounding better and better. Ozzie said this tonight... I'm beginning to see a 2011 Ravensa defense with Kindle starting opposite Suggs, Jimmy Smith as the starting corner and Foxworth at the other corner. Looks like the nickle and dime packages will be very good. I'm calling this "probable". Throwing against that won't be easy. Ozzie also said Torrey Smith will be the #3 receiver. He also said "It's Joe's offense." Cam was heard saying "Thank you Sir! May I have another!?!"

Great news! I never could figure out what these people were trying to accomplish other than spread fear and hate. What was their goal? Make a living by killing? He was one evil bastard...like Hitler. He had fanatical, misinformed and unreasoning followers who have no regard for human life...including their own.
