    Steelers/Fins

Me Too! 8 minutes left...plenty of time to get 2...maybe 3 more TD's on the Steelers...

    Steelers/Fins

Told you they'd cave in...Fins are comming back in the 4th...down 27-24. Texans/Pats tied at 27. UNLEASH CRAP!!!!!!!!

    Steelers/Fins

This is a decent game. Santonio Holmes just threw an INT. Stupid call by the Steelers...they just got their 1st INT by a corner this year and could have broke this game wide open and go for the trick play...no chance to complete it. 17-10 Steelers. If the Phish can hang in this half they have a shot...the Steelers fade in the second half. Texans 13-10 over Pats....Go Texans!!

    Welker goes down

Saw it...he's the best WR in the league IMO. Brady to Welker is a killer combo. Now they will be saying "Why didn't you sit him?"

    Steelers/Fins

The Steelers should win this game... "But it sure would be sweet to see them CHOKE!"
  7. I really don't want to lose Cam and I don't think the usual raid on Ravens coaches and front office personel will happen this year. Next week will see more facts than wild ass rumors and speculation.
  8. I don't agree with the title of the article..."Glum Ravens fans expected more this season"...I don't think we are 'Glum'..."Glum" is in Cleveland...I'm very excited this morning about the Ravens.. but I found this interesting...it's about consistency (so true)...from Valkenberg...
  9. If the offense puts up a lot of points today and the defense dominates then we'll all feel more confident about this team going into the playoffs. They could be peaking at the right time. All of us are aware of the highs and lows of this 2009 Ravens team...it's strengths and weaknesses. Injuries are a factor too. So being overconfident is not on my menu. The stats say they could be going into the playoffs with a dominant D and very good offense (with a win today of course ) but like I said...we know their shortcommings too. That said...every AFC playoff team has shortcommings so the Ravens have a decent shot to be competative against any team they meet. What more could we ask for?
  10. I'm pumped! "If you have a chance to get into the playoffs, you do it," Suggs said. "You definitely want to take advantage of that opportunity because there ain't no guarantee that you'll be back the next year, or if you'll ever go back again."
  11. That's growth...it only took 30 years for you to get in touch with your feelings.
  12. Here's some IR updates... Good to see Gaither back...he has a toe injury...not turf toe that ended J.O's career but it's a concern. I hope to see some road grading Sunday. I doubt Reed plays...maybe to get some reps to get ready for the playoffs...we'll see.
  13. Here's pre game some info... Flacco better be very carefull throwing to Asomugha's side. The guy is a fantastic corner. If you want something to worry about Hensley put up 3...
  14. Neighborhood fireworks were good last night. Happy New Year everybody! As you anonimously walk through life remember the advantage you have over everybody...they don't know that you are an ExtremeRaven!
  15. There were some great games yesterday. Both acadamies...Idaho/Bowling Green was a fantastic game and finish. Some good matchups today.
  16. You only remember the 2-3 big plays Trent would make...not the hell he put us through. BTW..I love the guy. Great leader and person. Flacco is the best Ravens QB of the decade...already... and he's still a 'babe in the woods'. Tell you what...look at that O line and I believe this current Ravens O line will be as good as those guys next year. OH! Everybody! Check out this video on the past decade in Ravens history...you'll get goose bumps. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/media_library/Videos/2009/12/2009_Ravens_Report_The_past_decade_in_Ravens_history_2000-10.aspx?id=6e60a292d6074e43b9b5787be8a9d65c Happy New Year!

  20. For the next 4 days (including today) I'm watching football till my eyes bleed.
  21. I was reading an article on the Ravens website and thought we hadn't been talking about the great season Joe is having. It's not Pro Bowl worthy [he's ranked 13th amoung NFL QB's], but in his second season he has taken steps forward and is growing into a solid NFL starting QB. I don't know about you but this is a breath of fresh air for me after what we, as fans, have lived through with Ravens QB's of the past. I've been hesitant to declare the Ravens have their long term franchise QB only because 10 years of futility have me in the "I'll believe it when I see it" mode. Well, I see it. Defenses have more tape and experience playing against him but his numbers improved over last year. That is what I needed to see. Joe's no fluke...no product of the system. Cam has put more on his sholders in year 2 and opened up the playbook. Here's the growth... A win Sunday and he will continue his string of leading the Ravens into the playoffs. Not too shabby. Joe is also in with some great company... The future? Ozzie's got him the line and the running game. Now...think of what Joe can do with an upgraded receiving corps.
  22. The D has really tightened up...quietly... during the second half of the season. Makes sense...injuries...new players...new DC...it took some time to gel. Their problem is getting off the field on 3rd down. Also they are 30th in the league with 32 penalties that gave their opponents 1st downs. Another reason they can't get off the field.
  23. The Suggs package is ok against the lesser disciplined defenses. It is not an every game option. The good D's stop it cold. I think it's a distraction and way over rated. I'd rather have Flacco under center and Ray Rice beside him. Troy's QB rating for this year is 21.3 with a 2.67 yards per attempt. I don't feel the need to see him in any game. I believe it's Troy's agent who should get the blame for the timing on this.
