The only thing is unless you are getting a 1st round pick in the next draft you would want all the picks to come in this year's incredibly deep draft. The record number of top Juniors that declared this year is going to make next year's draft a lot weaker.

Happy Draft Day everyone. It's officially the NFL's Christmas Day. Most teams get to pick a nice present to give to their fans. Some teams have been looking forward to this day for a lot longer than others. For example the Browns fans start looking forward to this day around about Week 4 of every season! I don't know why, they normally find a way to pick a Turkey like Weeden or Quinn. Maybe Manziel will be the next one:

Don't sleep on Brazil either. They have a quickly developing economy with the double edged sword of polluting more and cutting down the rain forests more to provide for the expansion of their economy. Everyone needs to buy in or it won't work.

This is a trade the Ravens might want to look at
RavenMad replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
That's not a bad deal for a pro bowl CB, however I just can't see us spending that much money on Corners. Jimmy Smith will be due a deal soon and the Ravens have already took up his option for the 5th year which is going to see a big jump in his cap hit. There would just be too much money invested in the Secondary between Webb, Smith and Flowers to do a deal. If we didn't have a starter alongside Webb then I would have done the deal in a heartbeat but $5-$6mill per season over the next 3 seasons could be better spent elsewhere. More likely I see us taking a cheaper option in the draft. There are some really good looking CBs that will be available right through to the end of the 3rd round and a few developmental guys from the 4th to 6th that could have huge upside. -
That's only a small part of it: http://wattsupwiththat.com/2013/11/25/2013-slowest-hurricane-season-in-30-years/ Again, weather patterns are going to become more volatile and not follow the normal patterns we have observed in the past. It wouldn't surprise me to see the worst Hurricane season in history in the next couple of years. Lets just hope it doesn't happen in July when I'm in Orlando for 17 days

Ideal scenario is to trade back with the 49ers and get their 2nd round pick #56 overall to go with 1st round pick #30 overall. With that 1st pick I would take Jimmie Ward, FS, Northern Illinois. We can then target Best Need Available from OL/WR/TE/RB with our 4 picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds and draft BPA for depth the rest of the way after that. OR Picking at 17 I hope 1 of Taylor Lewan or Zack Martin falls to our pick.

With the Climate change is coming more and more volatile weather. Last year we had some of the coldest temperatures ever recorded during our winter. This year we had one of the mildest and wettest winters on record. The temperature extremes in the weather have become worse. That is all the result of a warming of the overall climate. You heat something up it becomes more volatile. It's chemistry. Global Warming is not something new. The earth has gone through this cycle many times. This time it has been accelerated by man.

That's what I though when I saw the railway. Just looked like a landslide to me.

Trading back in the draft makes sense for the Ravens
RavenMad replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
The thing about this draft is there are about 12-15 first round prospects that I would class as top ten talent. Unless one of those falls to us at 17 we are "stuck" with a group of the 16-50 top prospects that are all grouped so closely together that it's hard to not call the 50th guy a 1st round prospect. That means a trade down is not really a bad option. We will still get a 1st round prospect and pick up another top 100 pick. Again the guys from 51-100 are going to be starter material in this incredibly deep draft. Ozzie has said himself they have 180 draftable prospects compared to the normal 140-150. That is an extra round of talent. Guys that would go in the 2nd round most drafts will still be available in the 4th! Getting as many picks in the top 100 is important. Having a good draft this year could set us up for another run of 5 consecutive years in the playoffs. -
My guess is he thinks he can get away with everything as he has never been properly punished for any of his past actions. The rape case against him went away too easily and you get the impression he thinks he can get away with murder. He will be a serial offender until he gets properly reprimanded. All that athletic ability shouldn't excuse him from being an ignorant human being. Million Dollar Body and a 10 cent brain.

2 things: Mike Evans is unlikely to be there at 17 if that is who they are targeting. To move up from 30 to 17 it would only cost pick 30 and pick 56 OR pick 30, pick 61 and pick 129. I wouldn't mind either deal to be honest. Perhaps they might be after one of the top CBs. Darqueze Dennard out of Michigan State should be there around our pick and might be a potential target for the 49ers. Another player of interest to them might be C.J. Mosley from Alabama who should be available at pick 17 or maybe someone like Anthony Barr from UCLA might slip. My guess is they will move up further than 17 if they are trading picks 30,61 and 94. They might be able to get to pick 14 or 15 with those picks.

It was hard watching the first go over but my wife and I recently rewatched from the beginning of season 1 just before the start of season 4 on tv and I have to say it was much easier viewing the 2nd time round. I actually remember the names of people now. I'm guessing it was Littlefinger or at least he arranged for it to happen. Why else would he have made arrangements to get Sansa out of Kings Landing?

The furthest West we have to travel this season is Houston. As others are saying this is a very favorable schedule.

Ravens exercise 2015 option on Jimmy Smith
RavenMad replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
That's still a relatively cheap price for Smith. My guess is a new deal will get worked out soon enough. -
Doesn't matter what they stand for, once their paymaster come calling they do what they are told "unanimously".

What not to do if you are trying to save the world: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/worlds-dumbest-idea-taxing-solar-energy-111300623.html#5Hu5erC I guess we know who is in the pockets of the big money Oil and Gas Companies. Broken System is Broken.

To be fair to scouts, it can be hard to project how players are going to handle becoming professionals. As soon as some guys get paid they take that as a green light to do whatever the hell they want except concentrate on football. The new rookie wage scale will negate some of that because these guys won't make big money until their 2nd contract but in order to do that they will have to be productive in years 1-5. That also means it will be even more important to draft well as you might be getting the most productive years of a player at his cheapest price thus putting more pressure on scouts to get it right. With that said, show me a scout that says he got his projections correct 100% of the time and I will show you a liar.

Me too. But I think Ruffalo could be even better. Puny God was one of the best moments in the Avengers movie and I would like to see more of the comedy side of the Hulk. I would even settle for a Hulk + Thor movie. I liked their interaction in the Avengers movie and think they could work well together in a standalone movie.

Rolando McClain wants to rejoin Ravens
RavenMad replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
I can see one of two things happening here. The Ravens send him away with a list of things he needs to work on and then give him another shot after the draft. OR They just cut their losses and tell him to get lost. My guess is they will go for option 1 and if they find someone they like in the draft will end up at Option 2. -
Cam Cameron was a failed HC that took our OC job and in the first couple of seasons looked like a genius. I know it didn't end well but if you compare what the offense was like under Cam compared to what came before it was probably some of the best offense we had since 96.

Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next Avengers Movie. And can someone please do another decent Hulk Movie.

If you put Pitta's hands on Ed he would be a top 5 TE in the league. It's a shame he couldn't catch a cold although he did have his moments. He made a big catch in the Superbowl so there was that.

Expand the rosters to 60 with 60 allowed to suit up. You can use players on your practice squad to make up the game day 60.
-
They can't fill the stadium in Jax so why would they pass up the mega money on offer in London? There are plans to expand the London series even further so you can expect to see it get to 8 games per season sometime soon and then a franchise will be permanently exported there.

For a borderline 2nd round talent it's not. Assuming we get another RT we have the interior depth to deal with "redshirting" him for a season. You then have a talent capable of challenging for a starting spot that can push Osemele and Yanda to be even better. At worst you have great depth. It would also tie in with Gradkowski and Shipley being Free Agents after this coming season. We did it with Kapron so why not Thomas?
