  1. Ray had a great game pass blocking against the Lions. I'm sure he would have loved to have been out in a pattern but the game called for him to help the line and anytime a LB blitzed he seemed to get a piece of him. It's the little things he does that make him such a good player.
  2. • The six field goals set a Ravens team record. • His 33 straight successful field goal conversions (dating back to Week 2) is the longest current streak in the NFL • His 61-yarder tied for the longest field goal made indoors in NFL history • It was also the longest field goal in Ravens history • And it was the third-longest go-ahead field goal in the final minute of the fourth quarter in league history
  3. Justin Tucker has been so good that if we had to do a redraft from 2012 I would have taken him in the 4th round instead of Christian Thompson!
  4. I actually thought the O showed signs of life against the Lions. We moved the ball really well but just couldn't punch it into the endzone. Lack of a running game probably doesn't help our redzone production. The line is pass protecting a lot better but we just aren't getting a push up front on runs. I was worried about how the Lions drove the ball down the field on their opening possession but the coaches made adjustments and the secondary played possibly one of their best games of the season. Jimmy Smith continues to grow. Matt Elam is developing nicely although he needs to learn to wrap up on tackles. Webb is getting there and Ihedigbo has been close to making a lot of big plays. Still, the worrying thing for me is the D looks elite for long spells of the game but continues to shit the bed late in the 4th. It happens nearly every game, fortunately Joe then gets the O going just in time to get the W. It's not a recipe for consistent winning but it seems to be a formula that is working for us right now and we are on a roll.
  5. So what are you trying to say Crav? Is Flacco Elite in the 4th Quarter when it counts? Is he Elite in the playoffs when it's win or go home? It can be frustrating to watch a lot of the time through 3 quarters but he is amazing in the 4th. At least the D plays well while Flacco is asleep and then shits the bed and wakes him from his slumber. It's a nice combination
  6. The Ravens D looked like that as well during the last couple minutes against Minny.
  7. This might be time to lock/delete a thread and move on or get back on topic. Geronimo, I still don't feel like we are all groupies just because we don't blame Flacco for ALL our problems. Has he had bad games. Yes. Has he thrown stupid passes. Yes. However, he can't block for himself. He can't get open and catch balls for himself (less of a problem than the O-Line but still a problem at times). And he can't take the handoff and run it himself on every down. Fix 2 out 3 of those problems and then we can start to blame Joe and only Joe.
  8. I just wish our D would stop shitting the bed in the 4th quarter.
  9. For nostalgia reasons Santa Claus the Movie will always be 1 of my favorite Christmas movies:
  10. Don't like the pass interference being 15 yards. Just gives D players more reason to commit the foul when they are about to be beaten on long pass plays.
  11. Robjr83 for Commissioner! I like both those ideas.
  12. I predict we will go 4-0 until we lose a game, then 3-1 until we lose another and then 2-2 well you get the picture.
  13. I'm still not sure we are improving quick enough to be able to reach the playoffs and if we do, be able to win a game in the playoffs unless it's against the Colts. There are still too many issues that are going unresolved week to week. John keeps spouting about the small incremental steps of development the team is taking but at some point they are going to have to take a leap forward.
  14. Yeah Spen, just rewatched it and Brown doesn't make contact until after the ball hits the receiver in the hands. Good no call.
  15. True, I guess I'm looking more at Doss and thinking we could still do better despite his improvement. He still puts too many balls on the ground for someone we thought would be a good possession WR. Marlon still needs to improve more to the point where he beats Doss out for playing time but yeah I really do like Marlon's potential.
  16. I would like to see us draft a WR with good hands. Someone that Joe can throw the ball to on 3rd down and know he is going to catch it. I like the rest of our young WRs but we lack a guy that catches everything that hits him in the hands.
  17. My bike is way better for the Apocalypse. It gets way more miles to the gallon and I can get away faster. It's also more environmentally friendly. The last thing we need is for 1 more thing to die from, in this case Global warming and Florida flooding from the melted polar ice caps.
  18. And he magics a tank out of thin air as well. Next he will be pulling a cure out of his ass!
  19. The one change that has effected this team the most IMO has been Castillo and his crap blocking schemes. Get rid of him and the line will improve.
  20. No Max, it just looked like Joe thought Marlon was going to cut more to the outside than he did and Joe was throwing it so it would arrive as Marlon made his cut. Just one of those INTs you will get from time to time. At least it wasn't a bone headed throw although I don't really like to see routes were 2 receivers are in such close proximity on the play. It was the guy covering Torrey that made the INT rather than the guy covering Marlon.
  21. Great Post Money! Dare I say "Right on the Money".
  22. I kind of liked the change of pace with this episode all about the Governor. I know he was bad but that was cold leaving him in the middle of the night. The way he was walking around I thought someone was going to mistake him for a walker and shoot him.
  23. What is it with this team and long in game delays? We nearly threw away the Superbowl and now we have had the Broncos game and the Bears game were we have stunk after the delays.
  24. This L was definitely on Joe. The pick 6 and even the INT into triple coverage were really poor throws. For the most part the line did well and we even had some semblance of a running game so the support was there but Joe didn't get it done.
  25. The highest point of elevation in Florida is 345ft: Britton Hill, Northern Florida Highlands.
