cravnravn Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 @ryanmink: The Steelers drafted WR Antonio Brown one pick after the #Ravens took Ramon Harewood in 2011. I just died a little inside. [Twitter] Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 He would have come here and been a no one in our screwed-up offense Quote
oldno82 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Except for Torrey the Ravens have never drafted a quality WR---in 16 years! Quote
52isUnstoppable Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 False *Dwight Shrute Voice* Brandon. Stokeley. But seriously I looked through the full draft history of the Ravens since inception at their WR selection... BARF!! Yamon Figur, Derrick Abney, Ron johnson.. The list goes on. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Stokely is quality. he is old now but was quite solid. 1 Quote
vmax Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 You can do this for every team's previous drafts and you will see they all passed by good talent at some point or another. But yea....the Ravens really bonk when it comes to drafting receivers. They have brought in a ton of clunkers via free agency too.Sub par QB's and receivers cost a few SB's IMO. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 It seems to me that the not reaching that Ozzie is known for doesn't always happen. There is no way Harewood was not a reach there. Quote

ravinmaniac52 Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 It was the 6th round. He had great size. They wanted him for the RT, even spoke about him being the next "Zeus." He did start LG at one time. The 6th round! Quote
oldno82 Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Stokely is quality. he is old now but was quite solid.I liked Stokeley since the season we drafted him. He was a good receiver. When he was healthy. And, if I remember correctly, that wasn't often. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 He would have come here and been a no one in our screwed-up offense My thoughts exactly Quote
cravnravn Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 My thoughts exactly Hell no, this would be his 3rd year, it would have been like 1998 when the Vikes drafted Moss. We would have our first legit WR since Michael Jackson Quote
