oldno82 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I think Justin Tucker has surpassed Matt Stover with that one. And Stover was one of the best. The sky's the limit for this kid if he can keep his confidence. Quote

RavenMad Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Justin Tucker has been so good that if we had to do a redraft from 2012 I would have taken him in the 4th round instead of Christian Thompson! Quote
RavenMad Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 • The six field goals set a Ravens team record.• His 33 straight successful field goal conversions (dating back to Week 2) is the longest current streak in the NFL• His 61-yarder tied for the longest field goal made indoors in NFL history• It was also the longest field goal in Ravens history• And it was the third-longest go-ahead field goal in the final minute of the fourth quarter in league history Quote

papasmurfbell Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/12/18/justin-tucker-nails-afc-weekly-honors/ Justin Tucker nails AFC weekly special-teams honorsOn Monday night, the Ravens scored no touchdowns in Detroit. But Justin Tucker delivered six field goals, including a 61-yard field game winner that looked like it was going to fade to the right before straightening out and falling over the upright. Not surprisingly, the effort gave Tucker the AFC special-teams player of the week award. For the year, Tucker has converted on 33 straight field-goal attempts. His performance has caught the attention of former Redskins kicker Mark Moseley, the only kicker to ever win the NFL’s MVP award by making 20 of 21 straight-on field goals during the nine-game, strike-shortened season of 1982.“In 1982 and ’83, I didn’t think I could miss,” Moseley told Clifton Brown of CSNBaltimore.com. “That’s where [Tucker] is now. I was really kind of surprised [Monday] night that they couldn’t get in the end zone. But that’s where a good kicker comes in. If you have a good defense and a good kicker, you can stay in games. That’s why George Allen brought me to Washington.”Tucker has become so reliable that there’s a danger the Ravens may get too cautious and conservative once they get in range for the kind of field goal that used to be considered hard to make but that with Tucker has become automatic. As long as Tucker doesn’t cool off, it may not matter. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Pops, i dont know what that contraption is called you posted, but what I posted is a kicking tee Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I worked on the field for SAFE Mang for 3 yrs. I was down where Stover kicks into the net. I saw him kick into the east endzone countless times. He never used a kickoff tee to practice FG's. He always used the FG tee like I posted a pic of. You are simply unknowledgeable about warmups.
