rastaman831226 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 When asked why he was not on the field during the last Ravens series, Torrey Smith said that decision was up to the coach. Is this Harbaugh's Doghouse again? Does this mean that Harbaugh thinks his ego is bigger than the team's needs? Is Harbaugh out of control....... again? Quote
GrubberRaven Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Or Torrey jacked up his right knee? Quote
tsylvester Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 or maybe Harbs doesn't say who goes in or out on offense, that would be up to the OC since Harbs knows little about offense......... nice try though. Not having Smith in there was of little importance, he can't catch contested passes, so why waste a spot with 28 seconds left? Quote
rastaman831226 Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 Quote from Torrey Smith when asked why he was not on the field during the last series - " That's something coach and I will have to address. I don't know when I am supposed to be going and when I am not supposed to be going. I'll let coach handle it. ". That does not sound like injury. Quote
Tornado700 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Could this all be speculation? Conjecture? Stirring up false shit? 1 Quote
GrubberRaven Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 If he talks about an injury before the TEAM figures out what it is and how it's handled, then yeah...makes sense Quote
RavenMad Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Are we sure it's not Joe's fault? Everything else is........ Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I don't dump it all on him. He has just a small part in it. It was an overall lose. Quote
Tornado700 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Let's just end this once and for all. The reason Torrey was not in on that last series was because he was HURT. Got it? HURT.Rasta, don't let your hatred for anything white get in the way of the truth. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Hensley just said that Torrey practiced fine early last Sunday. HE was feeling good. They activated him. By the time warmups came his knee was swelling and he was hurt. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Wonder if he'll have more tests...is he worth franchising? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 No not worth franchising after this yr. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Yeah but a few games don't discount the vast majority. Look at all the bad contracts the Ravens have gotten themselves stuck in already. He should take a median deal or check the market. If somecrazy team pays him crazy money let him walk. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Fair enough...still need a play maker. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Agreed. I am just not sure Torrey is that guy now. I was for signing him long term before the season started. His regression has left me really questioning what I thought Torrey was. Quote

You'll see Torrey limping on the sidelines. And how the fuck can he be in the doghouse? He scored 2 TD's the week before. Edited December 10, 2014 by vmax Quote

varaven45 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 You wonder how Ray Rice departure has affected his performance this yr. Quote
varaven45 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I read somewhere (can't find link) where the Rice ordeal really affected Torrey. Apparently, the two shared much in common and endured similar hardships (raised w/o Father). I could be off base but thought I read about. It makes some sense as I've noticed a drop off in Torey's tenacity and passion this year. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Then he isn't being a professional. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Check that at the door when you are being paid. Quote
