cravnravn Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Who drummed up this game plan? Joe threw for close to 50 times, we don't win with stats like that. Quote
vmax Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Harbs brain farts lost this but the amount of team mental errors is mind boggling. The Ravens should have been up 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Raider D would have kept giving up big chunks of yards but the Ravens kept shooting themselves in the foot. The were Ravens open everywhere.Special Teams sucked too.Defense gave up 4 TD's through the air.The Ravens continued to break down all game. This was a classic finding ways to lose game. Quote

He has cost the Ravens more yards than he has gained. Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Yeah John shouldn't taken that penalty, we all knew it. You never give any team another chance. Don't feel to bad about the loss, I didn't think they would win but I do feel bad cause they could have won. If they are going anywhere we need to make a deal for a real center. Jeremy Zuttah was on his back side or in his own back field for most of the game, he hasnt looked good at all this season, maybe the worse game I have seen him play but something need to be done now. Put some sticky gloves on Perriman. Can we get Juszczyk into the game more like they did today. Go West 113 yards, over 5 avg. and a score on the ground. Glad they understood that Go West fit better. And can they stop forgetting Crockett Gillmore, come on, the guy has a football name. Can't wait to see the 1-2 of Dixon Go West in about 3 weeks and yes, do away with Hester. Bring the Navy kid back up and let him learn on the fly Quote
tsylvester Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Carr threw for less than 200 yards, they ran for less than 100. Flacco had 2 touchdowns, one by running, almost 300 yards in the air, and they ran for almost 150 yards, another score on the ground. If I told you there was only one turnover by each team, you would say the Ravens won by a lot. But you know this secondary has been a big question mark for a while now. You know the pass rush has been spotty. You know special teams has been iffy and that Harbs make some questionable calls every season. The defensive line was awesome against the run. How many 3 & outs did they force!? But in the last series, when they needed a stop, for the first time this year, they could not get near Carr. Mostly because he was 3 steps and throw, to a wide open wide out. If the linebackers are not getting a good deep drop to glog the middle, if the db's are recognizing the routes any 3 year old could, we get a game winning touchdown drive for a loss. Sure, Joe had a chance, a great chance to win the game. Drove the team to the 50. 10 more yards it would have been Tucker time. But no wide out could get open in time or dropped a key pass. The line could not handle a five man rush for more than 2 seconds. Everything we knew about this team came to fruition yesterday... Quote
GrubberRaven Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I would love to see our O coached by a legit coach, just to see if it was the coaching. Kubiak has been the most successful offensive coach and were just a stopping point. Quote
Robjr83 Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 A couple of my observations... The Oline got manhandled. Jenson is garbage, the second coming of AQ ShitleyThis team will never learn how to do an effective screenHarbs is a good motivational type coach but gameday he might as well stay homeSomeone tell Trestman/Joe to call some max protect playsPlease start Young over Wright...whats the worst that can happen? cravnravn Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I think I would feel better if Tucker missed a 58 yard attempt, rather then see Aiken drop a perfectly thrown ball that hits him between the 1's Quote

oldno82 Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 He is frustrated and pissed. The dink and dunk is not the game we should be playing. Get the damned run game going and that takes the rush pressure off Joe. If this keeps up, Joe won't last the season. Quote
