cravnravn Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Can't wait to hear the Flacco haters now, trust me they will find fault in a victory, right Pops Quote
tsylvester Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Big whoop, the offense & coaching sucked, again. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I'm impressed by the D, not the O. There's a lot to prove on that side Quote
cravnravn Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 I'm impressed with the O, Joe nocamp, looked sharp Quote
cravnravn Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 The d was awesome, what I've read. They lived up to the billing Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Good call Crave. Obviously you know alot more than those other two so called Raven fans. Syl must have lost his shirt this game. How anyone could criticize this game, after a QB hasn't had a snap in preseason, is truly remarkable. Where you at Max? Hey Crave, how are you making out down there vs. Irma? Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 The shutout is great. The D is great. The last two minutes of Q2 and the whole 3Q were great...I guess I just want a wee bit more of excitement out of the O. Division win.Breaking a crap streak win.Shutout win. Good stuff Quote

vmax Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I'm shocked with how well the defense played. I knew they would be very good but to shut out a very good Bengal offense in their house, in their home opener and get 4 interceptions, a fumble recovery and 5 sacks!!!!?That's outstanding. They ran 47 times. Loved it.Won the field position battle and time of possession. Everybody needs to back off on pounding on this offense. They were together for 8 days and then played this game. The game plan was perfect considering the circumstances. 1-0! Here we go! Quote
vmax Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Play makers everywhere.... Defensive tackle Michael Pierce had a fumble recovery, a sack, and was in the Bengals backfield all day. Outside linebacker Terrell Suggs had a pair of sacks and forced a fumble that was one of Andy Dalton's two red-zone turnovers. A pass off Suggs' helmet was intercepted by slot cornerback Lardarius Webb and turned into a touchdown one play later.Linebacker C.J. Mosley had an interception in the end zone, and linebacker Patrick Onwuasor tipped a pass that was picked off by cornerback Brandon Carr in his Ravens debut. Cornerback Jimmy Smith picked off a pass intended for nemesis A.J. Green. Safety Tony Jefferson had a team high nine tackles and a sack.....https://www.pressboxonline.com/2017/09/10/five-impressions-from-ravens-week-1-win-against-bengals When the Ravens went up 10-0 I started thinking that might be enough points to win this game.Now....I was never comfortable.....you know all those Ravens ghosts of the past with blown leads.....that haunted me, but it was really nice to see good Ravens football. varaven45 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Like a W, a shutout is a shutout is a shutout. Nice work D ! Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 They totally took the ball out of Joe's hands. He did not complete a pass in the 2nd half. The run offense was impressive. Lets see if they can keep it up. Quote
