https://nflspinzone....e-organization/

In the NFL the margin of error is so small, and defensive coordinators are masterminds at finding opposing quarterbacks’ weaknesses. Just like Kaepernick, Jackson may be able to win a few games with his legs, but if he cannot consistently beat teams by standing in the pocket and throwing an accurate ball, he will not make it in this league.

Teams will rush two or three, and send everyone else back in coverage with a spy or two in case he wants to run. Jackson must prove he can throw the ball to beat defenses, and yet he couldn’t even complete 60 percent of his passes in college.

Simultaneous to the opening of the door on the new Lamar Jackson led Baltimore Ravens, the window of opportunity for a third Super Bowl closes as Flacco leaves. If and when Jackson starts, the Ravens better begin looking for a franchise quarterback to replace him. Jackson becoming a starter spins the organization into a quarterback carousel that could last years…just ask the Browns.

I agree.  I have said I don;t think he can do it in the NFL.  I also said Ozzie screwed the team on the way out the door.

Ozzie has screwed the team for the past few years. I don't think Jackson can make it either, but then, I hope so.

But a QB sets a team back by 5 yrs when they don't make it.

It's the media who views him as Flacco's replacement and they are badly uninformed because they do not watch tape.

He's a project. He needs a year or 2 to develop. Taylor needed more time. He was the 32nd pick. Not the first or 5th or 10th.

2 preseason games....give him a break.

The simple fact is, all this 22-year-old has done since entering the league is charm his teammates, win over his coaches, make spectacular plays, get better by the week and, oh yeah, win football games (now 7-2 in starts, including the playoffs). He has been a beacon in the community, with a natural joy about him and a positive energy you can see in the clips of his interactions with young fans at training camp.

No first round QB is a project.  3rd or 5th rounders are projects.  Especially when you trade up to get back into the first you expect him to perform reletively quickly.

Converting a running quarterback to a mostly pocket passer is a project. I've personally never seen him as a long term NFL quarterback. Too high a chance of injury the way he is running.

Can you suck a dick?  Stupid question you do for every pro raven person you can find.  Rodgers and Jackson had two totally different styles in college.

You know these stats are right here on the net.  They are so easy to find.  Rodgers never below 60% and Jackson has never been there.  Also Rodgers could always throw a nice ball and most of Jackson's are dying ducks.  Try to have a clue when you post something.

The thing is Wilson can throw from the pocket and run.  Same with Rodgers.  Baker is in that mold.  The question is do they want to stay there and throw or break?  If their goal was to change him and that was the project it was stupid.  It will set the team up for yrs of failure.

Stay classy prick.

My point was that he can sit on the bench and learn.  Who knows, but you write him off, just like everyone else (~95% of all Ravens, a team you don't like) except for maybe Dixon and Correa who blessed with your almighty 'praise'.  I've tried avoiding your posts but as you are actively posting and starting most of the conversations, it's impossible.

You're a miserable human being.

I never claimed to be classy.

I don't think he will translate.  I made that determination from his last yr at UL and his combine.

You don't avoid my posts.  You love to just sit and be critical of me.

"tried avoiding" - reading comprehension, try it.

Nope I like being a fan, while frustrating, but looking for positive.

Not to mention that he also chases good posters away. I know he did this to Crave and others.

Can you suck a d***? What kind of thing is that to say on these boards?  Moderators- you allow this sort of behavior? Why?

Crave was a POS racist.  I did not start a fight with him.  He jumps right in and starts one with me.

Crav left talking football on his own. He grew tired, like many including my self, Dee, of the way the game is going and the way the team is being run.

Him leaving had nothing to do with papa, crav loves banter. He only came back for a short time because his daughter died and he felt close to her talking Ravens football, she was a huge fan. Now drop it, ignore papa or leave.

Enough of this attack crap. Ok, papa is hard on the team, big freaking deal.

I'll add another:

But Crav didn't leave because of him. It's what Tsyl said that were the reasons as to why he doesn't post anymore.

Still many posters have stopped coming because of the all pervasive negativity.

This!!!

Papa has the nerve to call me a stalker if I post on one of his posts.  He is persistently negative.

You say ignore him, but when his full time job is posting on here, you can't help but try to understand the flow of a post if you're blocking all his posts.
