I like the idea of the OU coach. I think he could really help Jackson. I have like David Shaw from Stanford for a long time. Dan Campbell from the Saints. Thats all off the top of my head.

Id probably only hold on to Crab and Yanda. Still save $35 M. That gives DeCosta and Co a good deal to work with.

Crabtree hasn't even been that effective. He has only been ok Again Yanda is not playing that well and will be a yr older then. It is time to move on.

Diasgree but that's cool. You keep for Yanda for continuity and leadership, Crab for experience and proven success.

We arent dealing with prefection here just getting better one year at a time.

Like VA said...Yanda is still an above average guard. I have not read anything largely negative on him. He brings leadership and continuity. He could be more of a reserve guy next year.

 

I'm fine dropping everyone else.

You can't pay that much for a reserve guy. I am also anticiapting his 2018 injury. He will more than lilkely have a 2019 injury also.

 

Jim Brown has experience and is proven. Maybe they should sign him.

I'd keep Yanda around for one more year. His play has stepped up recently and he looks more like the Yanda we know.

The Baltimore Ravens will retain coach John Harbaugh for next season and possibly beyond, the team announced Friday.

"John Harbaugh will continue as our head coach for the 2019 season, and he and we are working on an extension to his existing contract, which expires after the 2019 season," a Ravens statement said.

The timing is perfect. Very happy to read this.

Steve wants this distraction out of the way on the eve of their biggest game and....he does not want to lose Harbaugh. I feel the same way and have posted my reasons.

It is a huge crap shoot finding a good HC who is a leader, motivator, communicator, great face of the franchise and can stand the test of time. One word describes him; Relentless.
