vmax Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 "A win is a win! 5-1!" The Ravens defense has never surrendered so many rushing yards. That unit has fallen apart. It burns my eyes. It hurts my head. Great game Joe and Ray...Rice. You saved the day. You were great for my burning eyes. Great day Special Teams and Jacoby....you were the difference. Quote
vmax Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 Dig it... ...TOP in Dallass's favor 40 minutes to 20.That is the formula for beating the Ravens: Run the ball, eat up yardage and clock, keep the Ravens offense cold and off the field. The D does not know how to get a 3 and out. Does not know how to tackle....stop practice squad runners... When you are stinking it up this bad you can not afford to be the 2ND MOST PENALIZED TEAM IN THE NFL!!!! Is Pollards rib injury hurting his performance? He's not the same. At least he made tackles. What's Ed doing?Kruger...no impact. Upshaw....same.Kemo, Jones and Cody are just out of position or getting pushed around. This is a really bad situation. That D can tank this season. They definately will kill this team if they make the playoffs. OH! Nice job Michael Oher!Good to see Williams out there shaking off some rust.Nice game Tory Smith, Boldin, Jones, Cary Williams, Tucker, Pita and Leach for laying the wood. Quote
varaven45 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Our D is downright embarrasing but we still got the W. I will bet the house, car, everyting we get destroyed by Texans.I might go to Vegas and take Texans, points and then some. Oh, and I've got Foster on my fanastasy teram ! BTW- Suggs cant get back soon enough ! We said before the season Joe and O would carry the team. Bingo ! Quote
oldno82 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 The Texans will demolish and embarrass us. They've got a proficient offense and a very good defense plus we'll be playing away. Losing Webb for the season is devastating. He was our best DB.Ed Reed gave up on tackling several times today and Ray Lewis is now a non-factor. No Super Bowl this year unless Terrell Suggs returns as his usual self and I don't think that is going to happen. Figures, the offense finally gets plays very well but our defense is poor now. Quote
thundercleetz Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Get used to it because the defense is going to be bend but don't break all season. Next week will be interesting. Quote

Nightman Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I haven't seen the Ravens defense play this badly since the 1996 and 1997 seasons. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Oher did a good job on Ware. He has shown great improvement this season. I thought he would be a disaster at LT this season. Dickson needs to play special teams and nothing else. The Defense...that has been beaten to death so i'll just add that it'll be interesting to see if there is any improvment with McClellan (or whoever replaces Ray) in there after a full week of practice. cravnravn Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Crav, How do I get there ? 95 North to exit 4-B in Delaware, 3 traffic lights make left, you wont miss it, signs will be everywhere Quote
RavenMad Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 The thing that pissed me off the most was listening to Pees "3 Keys" on D every 5 minutes of the game. The more I listened the angrier I got. We hear all about this player plays like a Raven and that player plays like a Raven. Well somebody should tell Pees how to coach like a Raven. That means we should be trying to stop the opposition O everywhere on the field, not when they get to our F'ing redzone! On a side note, we were 7th, 8th and 16th before the Cowboys game in Pees 3 Keys. The 3 keys are points allowed, red zone scoring and 3rd down efficiency. I'm starting to see why Belicheck ran this idiot out of New England. Quote
