Yeah, that hit is 100% on Ridley. To be honest, the personal foul on Pollard was a joke too - Hernandez got two feet down, stepped (even perhaps got a third down) and CHOSE to lower his helmet for the hit. It wasn't a mid-air, unable to react pop. He was not defenseless.

Couldn't agree with you more. Dee was absolutely right...the League has to realize that offensive players are in many cases drawing these penalties.

I'm not saying the hit on Ridley was illegal, but how can that not be a flag yet if you brush the QBs helmet with your finger it's a flag.

That's the inconsistency of the league's rules, RM... a QB and a "defenseless player" get protected. But runners and defenders don't.
