  1. LOL...are you sure you'll want to do that? We'll still be sub .500 and they'll still be in first
  2. I agree it's a problem if it continues, but so far it has happened once. If we lose to the Bengals and he bolts again then I agree it's an issue.
  3. I think Russell Wilson is the closest thing to Ray Lewis in terms of leadership ability in the younger generation.
  4. See? He's already following in Ray's footsteps We'll see...I think that was the first time he bolted this year. It could possibly be frustration boiling over. One time is excusable - we'll see if he makes a habit of it.
  5. I believe in Suggs as a Leader. On the offense that remains to be seen..it's hard for a non-QB to be a leader.
  6. Well we all know how strong the Ravens are at home and Cinci has definitely struggled on the road. The only thing that concerns me about a close matchup is that our D can't stop anyone late in the game and Cinci seems to do pretty well in close contests, aside from last week.
  7. It's got to be hard to duplicate the hunger and drive they had the past few seasons after all the "close but no cigar" playoff disappointments that fueled them in years past. After being up 14 and blowing the game against the Steelers in the Divisional Round and after the Cundiff/Evans choke job, the intensity and drive was high two years ago and through the roof last year. Getting the monkey off your back is good and all but sometimes it's one heck of a motivator. Just as a fan I know I am a lot more relaxed and less intense while watching Ravens games simply because they won it all last year. I can only imagine how the players feel.
  8. Unless you're the Patriots (HOF Coach, QB and crappy division), you're going to struggle and have losing seasons every now and then. It's unfair to the players on this team to point to a lack of leadership as the reason. Ray was on a few sub .500 teams...did the team lack leadership then?
  9. Someone's heading to the doghouse
  10. It depends how they look and how much progress they show. If they win while protecting Joe and show some success in the running game then i'll get a little excited. They're only 1 game out of the six seed after all, so while their play has made the playoffs unlikely, the opportunity is still there. If they look the same on O but manage to pull one out due to Special Teams and Defensive TD's then i'll be happy, but not too excited about the team going forward.
  11. Jaskson himself said it was for ADD meds back in August and Harbs confirmed it.
  12. Sizzle is a leader, but there are few people that can be a leader the caliber of Ray Lewis. Ray was able to get that extra 10% out of other guys and get them to raise their level of play, especially early in his career. McKinney's problem will always be motivation. When he gets bored in Miami he will start whiffing again.
  13. Apparently his running scheme has been dropped for the past two games, and yet we still can't run the ball. It's starting to appear that he may have been the scapegoat for what is just an underperforming group of guys. I still don't think we should be soliciting running game advice from the Eagles, but the problems on this team go far beyond his presense and attempt to install that ill fated read and react scheme.
  14. Harbaugh is not calling the plays. He may have input on the play calling, but so does Joe. I think both have more input on the playcalling with Caldwell than they do with Cam. Anyway, I was only able to actually pay attention to about half the game today, but in the part I watched guys were open, Joe just couldn't hit them. So yeah, execution is kinda key
  15. Easier to do after a SB! I'm just going to enjoy watching the younger guys and look forward to a draft pick in the first two hours of the draft.
  16. We've never lost after a loss after a bye under Harbaugh? Never lost to the Brownies and Bengals back to back?
  17. Were you listening to the radio when Vinny was talking because that's not what the quote says
  18. Yes...and this hasn't been the case all season so let's not get carried away Flacco haters. Today though, the criticism is just.
  19. Turnover...that's the spark we need. Let's go O!
  20. Way to respond offense!
  21. wow webb...just wow.
  22. Joe's not very accurate so far. He is missing wide open guys on both series
  23. Across the field and they still complete the pass. *sigh*
  24. Everyone has given us a ballgame this year.
