For a conditional pick http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20979236/new-orleans-saints-trade-rb-adrian-peterson-arizona-cardinals-conditional-draft-pick

It was a great game. Now if they would just stop trying to run the screen plays. They must be the only team in the league that can't run them... Have to give credit to the offensive line, outstanding job.
-
Great win, can they so it again? Two.more lost to injury, will they be season enders?
-
Either way, 350 yards passing, 4 touchdowns for whom ever throws the rock. Add another 50 or 60 yards rushing for them too, & 175 ruahing for beast mode, big win for Da Raiders...

Carr is out for this game.

Is Joe's back injury really that serious?
tsylvester replied to Tornado700's topic in Baltimore Ravens
How many of them were because the receiver cut off hos route, or ran the wrong one because of a miss read of the coverage? We know at least one was when Wallace gave up on a route... -

When your arm gets hit on a 3 step drop as you are trying to throw a pass, yeah, it is on the qb. Does he miss open receivers? Throw it to a trusted receiver in tight coverage over the middle rather than throw it to a receiver down field before he makes his break? Tell me papa, if you read the safety to cover 1/2 the field and the corner to the power side to be in zone but the receiver is reading 1/4's coverage. You throw the timing pass expecting the receiver to be breaking on a skinny post and instead they cut the route short, is that on Joe? Do you see a receiver wide open on the weak side and Joe barely has time to get to his 2nd read, who do you blame? Do you know his progressions on the play? Who was 1,2 or 3? I am not saying Joe is never to blame, & yes, there are times when he holds it too long, waits for a receiver to break open before he throws it, or checks down too quickly because he does. I am saying he also has not been given much to work with over his time here. We saw with Kubs what could he could do with a decent line, consistant play calling amd proper route combinations. But no quarterback in the league that is any good has had to put up with poor receivers, poor line play and a constant change over in offensive coordinators: none. -

He has had a lot of int's because he was throwing timing routes only to have wide outs late to the spot for being nocked off their routes or running them improperly, this includes the wrong depth. After several years of this, like training a mouse with shock therapy, one tends to not trust them. Add to the fact years of them getting slow off the los, struggling to get seperation, get their heads turned around and dropping passes, plus a sieve of a line, yea, trust is lost. How long would you trust someone to stop slamming a hammer onto your hand after they tell you to reach for a donut? -

We watched it in 2002, 2003, a gitted team, because of salary and the league mandate to donate players to the new teams added to the league. Very shrewd move bg Ozzie to get the cap relief and not face dead money. We watches Billick take the youngest team in NFL history, starters, and still have an exciting season or two. So we can watch it again, sadly with out the new team relief. Take the dead money as much as you can, but build the team As they currently sit they are still one of the oldest teams in the league. So dump the ols fogies, they have a good, young talenr pool, mostly on defense, granted, but build off of it. Yanda will be Yanda, Stanley may yet turn out. Two guys with great potential on the IR, are young, so there is hope for the line if they get the right line coach. With proper time in the pocket Flacco, healthy from his knee & back, has shwon he can make the offense go. They have some decent backs, Collins is running like he did in college if he can only stop the fumbling. So they are not that far off, with the right coaching, play designs, play calling and decision making...

Sing VA, sing!

Ozzie has shown over the past five+ drafts that either he or his scouting staff cannot draft quality players any more. How many more drafts does Biscutt wait for him to turn the corner?
-
Now you are talking my language VA, welcome to the dark side. Barkley is a real nice back but nope, first round backs are a waste, you only have them for maybe 4-5 years and that is if they stay healthy. There is a reason he is a "freak" for being able to squat & dead lift what he does and run like he can; the legs, knees cannot gold up to that preasure. It is a matter of time till his acl, mcl, etc give out... I was hoping Mahomes would drop to the Ravens in the 2nd round, he needed grooming and would be a perfect replacement when he is ready. But KC beat everyone to him. I expect another top 10 pick in 2018, maybe top five. Too early for a qb to sit for a year or two with the help this team needs. I would look for a good one later in the 2nd or 3rd. This team needs a true pla maker on offense, a ready made wide out with courage and consistant routes & hands. Yes, this will be only the 2nd time I have said these words: look to Bama. Calvin Ridley is the type of receiver tbis team needs; they missed out on the last one, the only other Bama player I wanted this team to draft... Easy top 10 pick, if he comes out and I think he will. Rhe defensive line is set, good depth, talented depth; good for Ozzie.. So hopefully they stay away from there in the first 3 rounds. But they need middle backers, badly.. Offensive line obviously, a center, preferably. 2nd, 3rd round. Get this team Jim Bob Cooter; a two fer, let him set up the staff..let Eric Decosta take over, get a new training staff this time and especially a new offensive line coach...

In fairness to the run defense, the ravens were gutted on the edges, outside the tackle. Their ends, cough- cough bama boy and old man suggs, did not hold the edge. Williams would have made little differnce in my opinion. Urban on the other hand..

So, how about talking about new coaching hires?!
tsylvester replied to tsylvester's topic in Baltimore Ravens
That is just it, it is not all on the players. Yes, Joe missed an easy touchdown because he dis not step into a throw and it sailed high on Perriman. He also misses a wide open runningback on a wheel route and instead, tried to force one over the middle. He missed a wide open Maclin for a long touchdown and instead threw to the tight end for a 5 yard gain on 3rd & 7. But he also got sacked on several 5 step drops because the receiver was not open, & the line did not give him time to go to his second option. He was not sacked by 1 player, but by 3 & 4. A total collapse of the line. He also had his arm hit on a 3 step drop, thankfully it was a completed pass for a short gain. Wallace dropped a 35 yard pass that would have made a big difference in the game. Receivers were mugged as soon as they got the ball because the routes were simple, easy to read for the defense and they played zone most of the 2nd half. When they played man, none of them could get open consistantly. Maclin and Wallace have been able to get open when they were on other teams, hmm. Injuries, just another excuse we have heard for bad play over the past 5 years. No offense, consistantly, has been somwthing we have seen since the team did a salary dump when Art first fot here. So they can't cut everyone, can't dump Flacco, who has had greqt games under the right coach. Since you can't change many players, you have to start with the coach and also, because Ozzie has never been able to draft or develop offensive players, sans JO and Big Ed, it is clear the front office has to be changed as well. Maybe then, Joe, the line, the receivers will flourish to some extent. -
Or front office moves. The play calling sucks, offense, defense, special teams. The players drafted or signed via free agency, not working out. Wrong routes, blown coverage, can't cover, can't get open, drop passes. Poor vision, not anticipation, inaccurate passes. The line can't block, not one of them, not even Stanley and don't give me any of that PFF score crap. I see with my eyes not with game stats. They all suck. The only good part of this team is the defensive line. Linebackers suck, don't give me Mosely is good crap, he makes one a game and everyone thinks be ks great. He runs around blocks, has terrible instincts, no power, no speed, even his quickness seems to be gone. Did I mention he can't cover? All of this is on the coaching staff that either can't teach, or can't properly use the talent. All of this is on the front office that still has its collective head stuck in the past; defense does not win championships without some type of offense... Not in today's NFL.

Know that my prayers are with you. I hope and pray that God' peace and comfort are with you and that you know, Christ Jesus loves you. Now, the "NFL rule" is a falsity about players standing at the National Anthem. It has been passed around facebook too, many fans think it is a fact, but it is yet another fake internet news. The NBA does have that rule but as far as I know, no other pro sport has that rule.

Normally I stay out of this topics. But I have to ask, why now? Do you stand at attention when you watch from home? I have very high respect for all of our veterans, first responders, all those who protect this country in one way or another. I respect that the flag represents them in some respect. However, it is just a flag, it is not a person. A person is who died, who lost a limb, lost the peace of mind, who puts their life on the line every day, not a flag. A person did obstruct justice, drive drunk, hit their girl friend, wife, do drugs, cheat to gain a physical advanatge, and a host of things people do every day that we do not agree with. They play for this team and yet people still not only cheer, but spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on this team. People ignore their family, have their kids skip school, take time off of work just to watch these other people, some of whom break laws.. Yet now that some are simply joining arms to show support for those who have been wronged, others who kneel, do you know if they are praying? Some sit, do you know if they are praying? Yes, they can pray standing up. But I don't pledge allegiance to the flag, I do ro this country, to all who protect it in some way, which includes the plumber, carpenter, burger flipper etc who have far more impact on my life. In 3 years those who offended you by kneeling or sitting will likely be off this team if not out of the league. I respect all of your opinions and right to feel as you, say what you do. Frankly, I would agree with your choice completely if you did so because of the Owner, or even the front office & coaching staff, all of whom decide hos to spend your money, the money they conned you out of for the PSL, season tickets, apparel, concessions.... My best to you.

Some google searches were pretty much fruitless, I did find one site that tracked, or claimed to, injuries from all 32 teams over the past decade and rank them, but I was not willing to pay for that info. One could head over to Profootball reference and do the leg work from there, they list not only all records and stats, but also IR info for each year of a team. I did find this; http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/38953/ravens-remain-nfls-kings-of-pain-with-league-worst-15-players-on-irRavens remain NFL's kings of pain with league-worst 15 players on IR -

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20818621/baltimore-ravens-coach-john-harbaugh-not-fond-playing-london Ravens coach John Harbaugh doesn't plan on team playing over there any time soon Common sense and actual research could be a good start.
