True Oldno. We almost lost to what looked like a JuCO 3rd string QB. If JuJu doesn’t cough it’s up.......... At the end of the day, we’ll take the W but dang ugly game. We got some BIG stuff to clean up.

Yes, its like deja vu all over again . This QB Randolph kid looks like the real deal. Could be another ugly day for our secondary !

Steelers are trending up, actually look like a far improved team after the NE drubbing. The Rudolph kid has been impressive in San Francisco (Steelers almost won); Kept the Steelers close against Seattle before losing at the end; then threw lasers against Cincy If you ask me, the Steelers are far better off w Randolph than Ben. After Cleveland exposed us, and with our hot mess secondary that hasn’t held any QB under 300 yds since Miami, Lamar and the running game gets stonewalled, and he runs for his life on Sunday. Can’t be confident about much of anything with this team - outside of Justin Tucker and Marlon Humphrey. Pittsburgh wins by 7-10 points. If SF beats Cleveland (in a very close one), we should be looking at 3 AFCN teams with 2-3 records come Monday morning.

Hmmm is right. Did we already sign Jalen Ramsey and was he playing in our secondary yesterday ?

My two cents : The offense is good and progressing in spurts. Lamar and the running game are strong; passing game is dysfunctional now. Over time, 1-2 years, he either figures it out or doesn't. Defense is hurting, esp w/o Williams, Smith and Young. The safety duo is woeful and communication is horrible. I'd like for us to bench Jefferson and play Elliot and/or Clark instead maybe for both (Thomas and Jefferson). Pass rush is non-existent and non-complementary with our secondary. It cannot be fixed now; only covered up. Eric D et. al. will need to fortify our LB and secondary in the 2020 draft. Until then, its hang on and hope for the best ! We are 2-2, tied for first in AFCN, and anything can happen.

Max, Thanks for your glass half full approach. Its appreciated. The team evolves, problems are solved, issues are addressed. Life moves on ! Hey, it could be much worse. Look at our O's. They lose a 100 + games second year in a row. But hey, they've got a GM who came from a successful Astros team and is starting to figure stuff out and develop some young talent. They've got a nice crop of exciting young players. I know I'm off topic/thread here but simply making a positive point.

Yep. Looks like Well be duking it out w Pittsburgh and Cincy this year. Pittsburgh wont be easy. I think Mason Rudolph will work our secondary - everyone else has- and Pittsburghs D will shut down Lamar and our O. If we are lucky, well keep it close.

I believe we can all agree the Browns have arrived. I think the media and Rex Ryan got Mayfield so ticked off; he finally proved it ! The Browns are a solid team and we have a ton of work ahead of us.

Very tough to call - either team is capable of winning. Lamar is having a good year; Mayfield is overdue for a breakout game. Both secondaries are beat up; could easily be decided in final possession - just like both games last year. Its a coin toss !

Yep, the next 3 weeks will be telling. And It all starts Sunday with a slobber knocker at M & T. Lamar vs Baker; it should be a fun, exciting game in what promises to be a long term rivalry between AFCN foes. Looks like another 2-3 point margin of victory.

Yep, everyone thought our D hadn't missed a beat after drubbing hapless Miami. Cards rookie QB Kyler Murray exposed us, then Mahomes lit us up. Mayfield, OBJ and Landry must be licking their chops. Our D better get its collective crap together...quick. Humphrey and then Jimmy need to return to form and health soon. Pass rush ? Someone needs to step up and the Winkster needs to dial up some sacks. Sundays game is HUGE ! At the end of the day we are either 3-1 or 2-2.

Yeah, our sieve like D conjures up memories of some of the woeful 70s Colts defenses (e.g Lloyd Mumphord, etc). Thats enough to give you the shakes huh ? If we dont clean this up, Baker Mayfield -who is still reeling from last nights 4th down gaffe in the end zone - is going to pick our D apart with OBJ and Jarvis Landry. I dont know what happened to our so called scary good defense but Maxs above pic above sums up what weve seen thus far - sans the Miami game. Lets hope the last 2 two defensive performances - especially the pass D - were an aberration and Wink and the boys bring their A game. Theyll need it to win Sundays game.

Tough game for sure . Hopefully, we learn something from the game and make the necessary adjustments for next weekend . The Browns will be a very tough opponent next Sunday.

There could be some major "puntos" scored Sunday in KC. Lets hope Lamar has another Miami game in him . oh, FWIW- I'm running/jamming the ball down KC's throats Sunday.
