Id give him 1 year. Either he straightens out his mechanics in 2019 or not. I know he doesnt have a great albeit decent line and not a plethora of receivers. But he can either fix or not fix his throwing mechanics. I personally think 2019 will go much like the last playofff game vs the Chargers. If so, Id be gearing up for a QB change in 2020 and getting in line for the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes.
The QB draft cupboard is pretty bare. We are going to need to draft a diamond in the rough or pick up someone in the Summer/FA - which is now unlikely given RG III.
Yep, its a fair and reasonable article. Much riding on the draft and Lamar. Could be yet another 7-9 or 8-8 campaign unless Lamar hits it out of the park and tanks.
Agreed. But who is the real successor for Lamar. RG is good as a backup/mentor but not future leader. Heres hoping we draft a mid to late round guy/ - not sold on Lamar.
Pretty nasty linebacker from Georgia . High motor, big time sack guy in SEC plus hes on the Steelers radar. Hed look a hell of a lot better in purple dont you think ?
Max, For whats its worth, genuine public servants these days are practically impossible to find. It sounds like times remain tough in charm city. Not much different anywhere else in US. Living life through the lens of politics is awful right now; life through the lens of faith is far better. My two cents.......
It would be nice but not absolutely necessary to snag Houston. If we are so fortunate, that frees us up to draft a good WR in the 1st. Otherwise, we may need to go pass rusher in 1st, no later than 2nd. Lots of holes to fill.
Ravens signed special teams standout Justin Bethel to a two-year deal. A three-time Pro Bowl player, Bethel has led his team in special teams tackles for six straight seasons. He has struggled on pass defense as a cornerback and didn't play a defensive snap last season. Bethel played for the Atlanta Falcons last season after spending six seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
