  1. The Minnesota TE (Max ) is starting to look a little more intriguing.
  2. Dadgommit
  3. Any merit in this guy, either for depth and/ if our current crop doesn't pan out ? http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-chiefs-free-agent-safety-ron-parker-could-be-strong-fit-for-ravens-redskins-20150313-story.htm.
  4. Maybe I'm just looking at this through Rosey glasses but this is at worst-case a decent deal. And if we can fill a few holes with free-agents and have a good to excellent draft then I'm loving the way this off-season is beginning to develop.
  5. Crav- I hear 3 yrs, $9M. Sorry don't have link. Agreed it's a win-win. He seems like a great guy- off and on the field - and he "plays like a Raven". I think we can safely check the box though I'd like us to draft an RB in the mid round to learn under Forsett.
  6. Yep. We draft an Rb for Forsett to mentor next year, before turning over the reins to young guy.
  7. Forsett a Raven again ? Got a link ?
  8. Good article by Hensley. If history and past performance continues, we should be allright. We have many holes to fill and the draft this year is extremely critical for the good guys. In Ozzie We Trust
  9. Good strategy but don't know I would plug all holes via draft then leftover FAs. There's a reason they are leftovers.
  10. Allright Ozzie, whatcha going to do ? Time to fill in some holes or do an upgrade or two.
  11. Well, I'll take this sense of deflation or good bye over last year (in the wake of the Ray Rice carnage). We've got a good nucleus of young players especially on the LOS. And since we aren't and never are big FA spenders, this draft like all others is critical. Ozzie is out of mulligans and needs to hit another home run w/ a WR, TE, RB, S, CB, and LB/DE (not necessarily in that order). If we do that, we are competitive again and the future looks bright.
  12. Good . Got em out of the AFC and to a bottom dweller.
  13. Crav, did I hear A-Roid was caught not replacing a roll of toilet paper
  14. Gotta have Tucker and Hill; Forsett would be nice
  15. Yep and parking cars at a Motel Six
  16. Hmm. What's the opposite of "like" in Facebook ?
  17. Agree on TE choices although maybe not until 2nd or 3rd. I don't know that Webb and Smith will both return and play at a high level. After last year's secondary play and both players penchant for injury and significant rehab time, the team must draft for both a CB starter (and long term solution) and backup for depth. Similarly, we need another safety either as a starter or future starter to replace or support Hill, depending on his fate. Our secondary has for years been our Achilles heel and, granted when healthy, is a decent unit. However, our pass happy league (and division) dictates a strong and deep secondary.
  18. Amen. Thank you
  19. I would be very happy with Gordon (if Forsett departs) or Maxx. They both look like Ravens !
  20. Pittsburgh ? Hmm; I guess Tomlin would keep his foot on the sideline eh ?
  21. Yep, I think it's a foregone conclusion.
  22. Yep. Here's hoping their mega payroll lands em another last place finish along with the Stankies.
  23. Sure it does. Just not a big fan of the 3rd highest payroll and the heavy fan bias towards the team. Plus, Toronto looks to be a stronger competitor in the AL East.
  24. Who cares about the Red Sox and their mega payroll. They won 71 games last year and were 25 games behind us in the AL East. They lost Lester and overpaid for 2 bigger bats, one overweight 3rd baseman and an underachieving SS. They can claim last place again this year.
