  1. And I never said we didnt give up 100 in a game. We never gave up....on average for the season more than 100 yds. Season stats dont lie. I dont care much for 2-3 bad games a year.
  2. Then go someplace else if your not a fan. As far as why you vowed off, you're clearly someone that has gone through little adversity in your life. Bad things happen, shame on you for judging in such a callous manner. I'm not saying condone anything, but everyone deserves a chance to atone for the things they've done wrong. As far as never getting a ring anytime soon because of what Oz has put together? You're a moron. He's put together a great team that keeps achieving year after year. Rookie QB, no problem. No WRs, no problem. Aging superstars, no problem.
  3. Furthermore, why would any RAVENS fan guarantee that a RAVENS player will not get a Super Bowl. Doesn't sound like a fan to me. Sounds like someone who is pessimistic and enjoys wallowing in their self pity. What's the saying, "misery loves company?????"
  4. I'm enjoying the descent by the Steelers. I respect their consistent excellence over the years, however I despise the dirty play that guys like Ward, Porter, and Harrison represent. Ben getting exactly what he deserves. I believe that what goes around comes around in this instance. I don't believe the Steelers will make the playoffs this year. They have many questions on defense. (Tebow was able to exploit them) The Hair looks like a shell of his former self. Ben is falling apart and they have major offensive line issues. My gut tells me we'll witness the fall of the Steelers this year and they'll be forced into all out rebuilding mode after 2013.
  5. What trend????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2009: Ranked 5th in the NFL vs the rush 93.3 yds a game 2010: Ranked 5th in the NFL vs the rush 93.9 yds a game 2011: Ranked 2nd in the NFL vs the rush 92.9 yds a game If anything, we improved each year since 2009. Look up anomaly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those few bad games do not make the Rush Defense bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That three year span..........THAT YOU REFERENCED.......couldn't be better example of consistency and excellence. Where they perfect? NO. No one here argued that. You stated there's a trend that the Ravens are getting worse against the run. That's not the case! In 2008, ranked 3rd In 2007, ranked 2nd In 2006, ranked 2nd In 2005, ranked 9th Since 2005 we have not been ranked lower than 9th! Since 2005 we have not once given up on average more than 100 yds on the ground. THERE IS NO PROBLEM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. What a guarantee, way to go out on a limb. You're so daring. The percentages say you could do that about any two players in the NFL and there's a good chance you're right. That's like saying I'm going to go out on a limb and say California will experience an earthquake this year. It's easy to say a team or players won't get a Super Bowl. Cleetz, I'm with you. I wanna see Ray and Ed go out on the biggest stage. You could argue that these two guys are the two best defensive players to ever play the game. It would be awesome to watch them party together after a well earned Super Bowl.
  7. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ravens-ed-reed-wants-remain-234315904--nfl.html As it turns out I there was little to worry about. He was posturing during the offseason, nothing more.
  8. Bingo. How in the world do we finish top 5 in the run or whatever and yet we're gouged by the run? There is little to worry about in this department unless we lose some of our DT's to injury.
  9. It makes the most sense I think. Its a simple risk vs reward scenario. My gut tells me this is a contingency plan in the event our main guy goes down.
  10. You knew Marcus Aurelis. I did not say I knew him, I said he touched me on shoulder once!!!! Great movie. Off topic lol.
  11. Enjoy the weather my man. And legs hope that Pitta makes a speedy recovery. As many Jenas usually say, "two is better than one" Lol lol lol
  12. Are you close to Ocala then? I used to drive through there on my way down through Tampa to Naples. Used to have inlaws down there.
  13. I think this is good news based on the fact that Birk is just getting some time off. I like when the young guys get valuable reps early in camp.
  14. You know I'm surprised that I never thought of that when I lived down there. Jax was still in our division for part of my time down there. I used to live in the panhandle, Fort Walton Beach on Eglin AFB. Had a great time down there. I was only 6 or so hours from Jax, why didn't I get over there???? lol
  15. Ahhhh Crav you're awesome. I didn't expect you to actually answer! I cannot wait for this season. Gonna be absolutely exciting.
  16. No Reed. This guy's confidence and focus are just not there. I agree with Crav that I don't want to see Webb back there cuz he's just not that dynamic of a return guy. I'd rather have Jones I think. If he's out for redemption and he's staying focused I'd rather give him the shot.
  17. Eric Green, how old are you Crav? JK. This is why I really like this team. We have contingency options. They're viable. We're deep. We're not perfect, but we're a deep team.
  18. Maybe I was responding to you, but my time of response has little to do with it. I'm thinking it's probably Harb's fault. You're probably wondering what that means........now you know how the rest of us feel when you post. Have a great day.
  19. I agree Crav. I think it's a matter of where is he most important. Does his impact as a Punt Returner outweigh the potential cost of losing him to injury? I don't think it does. He's good and all, but he's no DeShawn Jackson or Hester. Those guys I can see putting them back there as they're game changers from that position. Is Webb really a game changer as a Punt Returner? I would think not. He's good, but we can get someone else to risk the injury with similar results can't we?
  20. I forgot about that guy too. Isn't he like Paul Bunyan tall? lol
  21. Why would I be referring to you?
  22. Anyone think he just types stuff to type stuff?
  23. I hope we see more of this. This guy's potential is through the roof. I can't count how many drive killing drops he had. This guy is open all the time.
  24. I was pretty happy when I read this earlier.
  25. I'd be comfortable with a part-time "just in case" scenario. I do hope this is what they do. I'd prefer our top CB not have anything to do with the special teams. Harbs and Co have proven they make good decisions here.
