  1. The best of that bunch does not mean that he is necessarily a good QB. I would like the Ravens to have a good QB, and I think a team needs a good QB to be successful and I do not think Top 5 is as of yet and I see no reason to think he will be at this point. BTW Vinny may have been better than Flacco at the time he was here but thats nothing I will argue. And I partially disagree - a better QB may have made a difference in a number of our losses this season.
  2. Its only like that because it would be a big deal. In some other sports when stars are having a bad game they get replaced and its no big deal. But I do agree that the way things are the move might create a big headache. At some point though...... I also bring it up because I'd like to see another QB get some real snaps with this team, we haven't for most of 4 years now.
  3. I did not mean put Tyrod in for the rest of the year, I meant for the rest of the game Sunday.
  4. It just gets better and better.
  5. I guess I do not know the difference. When we were on vacation my wife was using her Nook Color to check restaurant menus online, watch videos, listen to music, and surf the web. I do not know what else it could do that it did not do already, though I am sure there are things. I am not doubting you, I am just curious.
  6. So you are saying you take every quote from a teammate completely 100% as truth? Have you followed sports before? Imagine a world where everyone takes everything a player says about a teammate 100% seriously.
  7. If they want to punish someone why dont they let Tyrod Taylor have a few real snaps instead of Below Average Joe. Seriously Joe sucked the first half, and was awful the first series of the 2nd half. Why not replace him after that series other than 'thats not done in the NFL'?
  8. I still do not see anything different than most coaches, just normal coach speak. I really do not think its much of an attack either. I know you hated Billick for years before he was fired, now you bitched about Harbaugh for years; is there a chance you just do not like coaches? Complaining about this just seems petty to me.
  9. You mean the first question? That was a pretty mild attack if so. I sure hope our local coverage does not begin to emulate Philly or NY coverage.
  10. I do not know much about phones because I work at home so I cannot (or do not) justify having an expensive cell when I am almost always around a computer in the house. I do have a basic cell but I pay as I go and rarely use it. If (probably when) I start working outside of the house I will buy something better. Doesn't the Nook Color automatically use Android software?
  11. Honeycomb's big...yeah yeah yeah! It's not small...no no no! I'll use an old jingle to cover up my ignorance.
  12. You pick that record every year dont you?
  13. My wife really does love her Nook. You can use it at the library too which is kind of cool.
  14. Well yeah but no matter what anyone else did or didn't do it does not make me think anything better about the game he had. He had plenty of time often today and overthrew, under-threw, or completely missed open targets. I know Cam is not the best, but when Joe throws a bad INT or misses open targets the way he frequently has this year - I am not going to place the blame anywhere else even if "we shouldnt have passed" or "Cam called a bad play" etc. In 9 games this year he has had 4 bad games, some awful. He is not a good QB and I see nothing to make me think he is progressing at all. The problem as I see it is, and its harsh, is that Joe has been good enough to warrant a contract extension. So I really do not have any high hopes for this team for the foreseeable future.
  15. I think our QB who every other week cannot hit open receivers is as sad as any aspect of our coaching staff. He was all over the place today. Luckily he threw a bunch of short passes in the second have to essentially pad his stats so I am sure the line and the coaching staff will get the bulk of the criticism. Everyone should be criticized for abandoning the run the way we did. No excuse for that. What shouldn't be forgotten in the mess that was today's game is that the Seahawks really helped to keep us in the game. If they were not so sloppy I worry what the final score would have been.
  16. Every time I almost start to think Joe can turn the corner and be a good NFL QB he has another bad game and reminds me that in all likelihood he wont.
  17. Sorry I cannot help. My wife owns and loves her Nook, but I do not know anything about the Kindle. No Vmax, this is not a leading statement. My wife just loves her Nook and can barely keep her hands off it. Even in public.
  18. Plasmas are more reflective than LCDs but if its a huge problem with the plasma I bet it would at least been a small problem with the LCD so dont beat yourself up too much. 52"? Hmm.....If it will help, I can hold on to that TV for you until you move.
  19. Yeah, great job last year. Last year.
  20. Romo gets attacked as much as any QB in the league right now IMO. I have seen features recently about what is wrong with Philip Rivers. With the possible exception of Bayless I do not think anyone is picking on Joe.
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNEgUPKxk7A&ob=av3e RIP Heavy D
  22. For the movie the part of Big Ben can be played by Liev Schrieber.
  23. I know its just one game and to me it by no means convinces me they are going anywhere, but Sundays game gave me the best feeling after a game than any other since the Super Bowl win.

    A New Trend

A fantastic game. I was in Houston visiting in-laws and me and my wife's uncle (who is from Baltimore) went to a bar to watch the game. Someone asked me before the game if I thought the Ravens would win, and I answered no but I had hope. It was up and down all night, at times really frustrating - but that just made the ending all the more sweet. When Smith caught the TD 3 quarters of the bar let out a big cheer. It was a fun night. Flacco was really good last night. His stats as they were are good, but there were a number of easy drops. The only thing I didnt like was the fumble.
  25. When I was on vacation and would go to The Suns page I would get a page view count. At home so far I have not gotten one. I do not use it a lot, but probably do go there more than 15 times a month. I'll never pay for it.
