Well we critique everybody on or related to the team one way or the other...I wasn't saying we should fire Harbaugh. We should keep him. But it was worth pointing out. Maybe Harbaugh can learn a lesson here.

Yes you can bench a guy for a game or two but taking out guys for a whole season or two really hurts the team.

It looks like if you wind up in Harbaugh's doghouse its vey difficult to get out. I know Ellerbie was in it for a long time.

Harbs finally got around to putting our best offensive line out there. McKinnie at LT, K.O. at LG, Birk at C, Yanda RG and Ohrer RT. Preston (and I) has been clamoring for this all year. WTF took him so long? Even the offensive line players are saying its the best configuration.

Aha! So thats what happened. Plus, I read this morning that he said he was fighting an injury earlier.

We need to re-sign Kruger. We need all the pass rushers we can get. I wonder what happened to him in the first half of the season. He seemed to disappear.

I do agree that its a very hard penalty to avoid at that speed but the League is going to keep calling it because of all the recent medical findings about head traumas.

While it is time for Ray to go (and I give him credit for retiring rather than hanging on longer), I find myself a bit misty-eyed at seeing the end of #52. Never saw a defensive player with so much lateral speed. He was also extremely football smart. No doubt in my mind he was the best ever LB to play and I go back a long way. Time now for Ed to bow out gracefully too.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if we can cover that spread.

I say give Jim a chance in the playoffs and see if the offense continues to move the ball. If it does I'd stick with him. If not, then I'd like to see a college coach with a great resume for offense. I'm a little tired of NFL retreads.

We need Da Costa. We also need Ozzie to get back his mojo: we have a ton of holes on defense on the line, at linebacker, at safety, and on the O-line we need a LT as it appears Oher is not going to excel there. I like Osemele and Gradowski did show me some talent and confidence yesterday but we need to move Oher back to RT and get a real good LT. We also need a better backup QB. I don't know if we go the draft or FA route on that or attempt a trade.

Anytime you win your division its a successful year. While I hoped for a lot more, I gotta be happy with being one of the playoff teams for the 5th year in a row.

There is NO way the Ravens are taking this game seriously despite what they may say for public consumption. Too many injured players won't be playing. Hell, some that are just dinged won't play the whole game. The Bengals should win easily. If they don't, they're a patsy team.

I'm reserving judgment on Grad. On the one hand I would have expected to see him at least some this season (to spell Birk) if he was any good but I'd sign on to trying him out next pre-season as long as we have a another option.

I'm really impressed by Pierce. I didn't know he was this good.
