Yards!!?! How about POINTS! i like the idea of team incentives vs personal incentives but how about something that translates into winning. The Ravens were 21st in points scored in the NFL.

I really like him. He might be great but I don't think we'll ever know. Because: 1. Joe needs a line that will give him time. 2. Joe needs a running game to draw in the safeties and linebackers. 3. Joe won't wait long enough. He loves to throw the 5 yard check down way too much. 4. It seems Joe already has his mind made up before the snap on who he's going to throw to. 5. Joe does poorly reading the defense and seeing all his receivers....especially the guys who are open deep. That's too far away from being short of the first down marker. Hey! Maybe all Joe needs is contact lenses so he can see his players down the field!

I'm not optimistic about 2017 at all when I look at last season, this roster and coaching staff....add the front office to this list. They were good at finding ways to lose. All these "Mighty Men" got sand kicked in their face. It's real bad if other coaches don't want to come here. It means the professionals know it's a bad scene. Then again, there are an abundance of bad scenes in the NFL. For me....I spent a lot of money going to the games and it was not entertaining. Right now, I'm pissed. I don't see anything fun or hopeful to talk about. I mean...who looks forward to a "death watch" season for the HC and coaching staff? You want to feel good that the right men are in place and that they can build and mold the talent they have into a tough, competitive team. Harbaugh did that when he first got here....but he had Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.

I agree...and it's so disappointing. 6-2 vs teams with losing records. 2-6 against teams with winning records. They are on the short side of being an 8-8 team. Joe's has lost his MoJo but it's too soon to use an early round draft pick on a QB. Maybe 2018. I felt like I was watching Kyle Boller at times. He did help win a Super Bowl....I'll never forget that, but then it seems like once he got his money....he changed.

In all probability, had they run instead of thrown when it was 1st and 2 earlier they this is a 20-17 game. So Joe stats a new franchise passing yardage mark. 4,000 plus yards. For the half the Bengals are averaging 8.1 yards per play. Using guys like Cody Core...4 catches for 82 yards ypc 20.5 Boyd..2 for 39 19.5 ypc Lafell... 4 for 35 and a lowly 8.8 Uzomah 3 catches and a TD 54.5 QB rating for Joe but they will make sure the game rests on his arm, accuracy and brains.
