Yea...and the Ravens won 3 playoff games and a Super Bowl with him. He played within his limitations, was tough as nails and a good leader. He was the perfect game manager for the 2000 Ravens. Don't turn it over, pound the ball, win field position, make 2-3 big plays a game and let the defense and special teams finish them off. They might have a second Super Bowl if they kept him. There are quarterbacks that you can't win a Super Bowl with like Vick, Dalton, Ryan, McNabb, Stafford, ...they wilt.....give it away. There are also players that really increase a team's odds of winning a Super Bowl....like January Joe. Now...once again you can only get there as a team. It's a team sport. Get the right quarterback and supporting cast and you have the trophy. Aaron Rodgers got his money....no SB since. Rthsxlsxxbrrrgrrr got his money....no SB since. Manning got his money long long ago and he had a dry spell from 2005 to the present and the Broncos won despite his terrible performance. But he has a ring like Rthsslxxbrrgrrrr for worst SB performances by a winning QB. Brees got his money....nothing since. They all needed complimentary players, solid units, great coaching and game planning....to be able to hoist a trophy. QB's are only one part of the winning formula. A big part....but they need help to look great.

He's a Superstar. You get a big name because you make big plays.....because you can dominate. As a fan, it's been terrific to watch players like Woodson, Reed, Lewis, McAlister, Jamal Lewis, Ogden, Stover, Boldin, Torrey Smith, Joe Flacco, Shannon Sharpe, Boulware, McCrary, Suggs, Dumervil and a ton of other Ravens. And even if they lose the game or have a down season, it takes a lot of the sting out because you get to see some outstanding plays and performances. It takes the sting out of the ticket prices too.

Every team needs a guy like this....
-
You give this guy the money.

Special Teams is 1/3rd of the winning formula. Has anybody started their career better than Tucker? You can bet every team in the AFC North was salivating hoping the Ravens lose him.

very slim chance....and who are these other candidates?

Thanks guys. All this information helps me. The only hope of electing a total incompetent is that a major movement for election reforms takes root and new changes are adopted.

Hey! I resemble that!

I was riding my bike in the State Park and came across my son and his friends catching Pokemon. Then on the ride home, kids were walking in Catonsville, phones in their faces, catching Pokemon. This is catching fire. I think it's great. Finally a game that forces people out of the house and getting some exercise walking around. You use your phone to locate them in your neighborhood. Then you catch them using the camera and hitting them with a ball. Works well for my IQ!

This is a friggn'n nightmare. A really bad joke, but a sign of how far our nation has fallen. We'll have to make do like the Chinese. They have no say in government but the people keep trying to evolve into a better nation and work on the issues their government ignores.

or I can't vote. Trump Clinton Neither I can't handle this. I keep trying to deny that this is really happening. This is just a bad dream that we're going to wake up from...right? The times that we live in and the issues that America faces are just as serious as 1776, 1860, 1929, 1939. And out of a population of 324,167,922 as of Saturday, July 9, 2016, this is the cream of the crop!?!?? They are best that we can find to lead our country? Why isn't there a massive protest? We should be marching on Washington, demanding a postponement to this election, demand an end to the 2 party system because it is a complete and total failure and totally corrupt, and begin an extensive search for a group of qualified patriots who can all present themselves on equal ground with no affiliations or attachments. Either Clinton or Trump will be the face of the greatest nation on earth. These are 2 very, very flawed and weak individuals.

You're way too optimistic.

I think the Ravens knew about this stuff way in advance. This solves the riddle of "Why so many tight ends?"
-
The 2016 Ravens will be a work in progress all season long. I see a much stronger team for the 2nd half of the season....just when they will really need to be that.

Those are the 'before' pictures...right?

Parts of it are like a Hell region.

The 13 alternating red and white stripes represent the 13 original colonies. Talking about colors, red stands for hardiness and valor; white symbolizes purity and innocence; and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice.

Oh...and nowhere did I bitch about what Luck is getting paid. Pay the man what the market dictates. The Colts have no playoff or championship dreams or goals without him. They would be worse than the Browns. I'm kind of liking this. At least we are talking football during the long dry spell before camp.

What has Ben done since he got his money? Not much if you're talking about winning playoff games and Championships. You give Ben excuses. You say..."because he has done jack squat since they left except beat a Steelers team in the playoffs that was without Bell." What has Joe had to work with since Boldin and Smith left? Look....we all know it's a team sport. You win as a team. You lose as a team. Yet you say "at least Ben has gotten his team to 3 Superbowls and has won 2 of them." we both....most fans...the media keep referring to QB's as winning games. We know better. If they execute their role well it certainly helps the teams chances of winning. On the flip side, poor QB performance and decision making will doom any team. What I'm saying is have a QB like Ben or Joe greatly increases a teams odds at winning in the playoffs and taking that elusive SB trophy. So you pay them. Or be the Browns. As for Ben....he lost in 1 Super Bowl and the other win left him ranked in the top worst QB performances by winning QB's in Super Bowl history. Hopefully he thanked his team mates for the ring.
