  1. Me neither. I see him more as.... some sort of activities co-ordinator at a Senior Center.
  2. It's temping if I could make the kind of money that I make here...and almost do-able. #1 son is 22 and in college. #2 son graduates High School in June and wants to serve in the Armed Forces. My daughter turned 16 last week and I just dropped her off in a prestigeous boarding school in southwestern Virginia. She was awarded the highest scholarship in that schools history. Will graduate Dec 2013...they all end up in places like Yale. So the nest is emptying out fast.
  3. Some real sad news this morning.... He was so inspiring in 2000. He climbed to the top of the mountain. Now he's in hell.
  4. I didn't say Flacco was better than Eli but now that I think about it he could end up doing just as well. Eli got his 1st Super Bowl off that fluke/spectacular Tyree catch. Joe is one dropped ball away from his 1st Super Bowl. If that catch is made and Joe goes on to beat the Giants then we are having a whole different conversation. I absolutely think Joe can lead a team to more wins than Romo....and he's proven that with a weaker cast of receivers than Romo has.
  5. Damn crav....you had to move all the way to Florida to get off dial up...todays version of sending smoke signals. You won't know how to act.......like some guy who lived alone in the wilderness for 10 years and then he's transported to Manhatten.
  6. With all the money Dee makes off this site she should buy the team.
  7. Just a guess...maybe he doesn't have the explosion necessary to rapidly to hit the hole. Yea papa...seeing Vonte "Battering Ram" Leach leading and LeRon "Bring the Pain" McLain smashing right behind just might be awesome. In the playoffs when the O line was struggling Ray was squeeking through such small holes and clogged formations those 2 couldn't get through..
  8. I love to look at numbers too, but they only tell part of the story. Romo is a decent QB but I'd take Flacco over him. Mexico's team under Romo were 8-8 last year. 6-10 the year before.
  9. Joe's definitely another level above Vick, Romo, Cutler and Stafford. Here's what the top 7 get paid.... Joe should get around 80-90 mill when all's said and done depending on the amount of years he signs for. Hopefully it's for at least 6 years. I'd estimate the total value to be around $86 mill or apx $14.3 mil a year. Give him a $100 mil if he signs for 7 years with about $38 mill guaranteed. That may sound like a lot, but it will be a bargan in years 5-7. That should keep his agent happy too...not many agents can say they got a $100 mill contract. Here's what his agent says... Joe's going to cash in big....and he should. He's an integral part of the Ravens winning formula. He executes his role well. He doesn't choke, avoids the costly turnover, doesn't force the ball in panic. His character is great. He's not a baby. He not a playboy. He keeps his mouth shut when things are not going well. Doesn't make excuses. He's focused on work. He has fire in him but he controls that....he's cool. His team mates have total faith and belief in him. He's their Quarterback and they will stand up for him passionately [aka Suggs, Ray Lewis, Ray Rice, Mason, his line, his coaches, ect]. He's physically durable as hell. He has the perfect height and arm strength and accuracy to go with that. Importantly....Joe wants to be here. And Yes!....he wins. You don't get cheap with an opportunity and proven commody like this. They are rare.
  10. Rich hypocrites. The also do a fabulous job at marketing God and Country.
  11. The landscape (power structure) of the NFL is about to change big time this off season.
  12. I definitely don't want to see Tomlinson. Let's get younger and faster. The Ravens really need a tough, North/South runner who can compliment Rice and effectively carry the load should Ray go down. Not sure if the 2013 McClain is that guy. He could effectively spell Rice....but not replace him. I liked McClain...it's an interesting proposition. As mentioned, he would have to fit in with a tight CAP.
  13. I call it a tragic waste although she did at least make a positive impact in music during her life. Now...even an end such as this can be for the good. Whitney's success made her a public figure and her losing battle with drug addiction is one more story in the publics eye helping to raise the consciousness about how powerfull, terrible and totally destructive drug addiction is. There are stories like hers on every block in America.
  14. Here's some sweet Baltimore Ravens video highlights from the Ravens website. Here's a link to Torry Smiths highlights and then if you look below, you'll see Boldin, Webb, Suggs, Flacco... I love the end of Flaccos highlight video... http://www.baltimoreravens.com/media_library/Videos/2012/02/Torrey_Smith_2011_Highlights.aspx?id=532fc842ddbe47ecab11860c4e68905c It was a great season. It ended in disappointment but that goes the same for 31 teams. Nevertheless, it was a real sweet year.
  15. Yeager...Ozzies is going to let 13-15 players go and that's not because he's negative. Evans caught 4 balls last year...that's a million dollars a catch. Can 't afford that or count on him to stay healthy. If he wants to come back for far less money as a #3 receiver fine.....let him win a job over Doss, Williams and whoever else they bring in. Let him resurrect his career. Cundiff will need an almost "pro bowl like" career to regain fan, teammates and coaching confidence in him. He's definitely at 3 & 2 with 2 outs in the 9 th. He did not lose the game. He wasn't' responsible for the pressure situation that the team and coaches put him in...but he "Al Del Grecco'd" in one of the biggest games of this franchises history. These opportunities are rare. He's under a lot of heat..perhaps most of it undeserved...but he had a sub par season on top of it
  16. this is good. There is still hope for America.
  17. That locker room will snub him. They'll be looking at him funny...give him the silent treatment. His first big miss and this town will scream for his head. IMO...he was rushed so it's not all his fault. The blame falls on Rosberg and Harbaugh. They should have taken the fall publicly for him.
  18. You're good. I wish I had an excuse for some of the insanity that I post. On the other hand...using crav as a character witness does have it's problems.
  19. Don't go to Mexico... Check out this travel advisory.... Mexico's about as inviting a place to go as vacationing in Europe during world war two. .
  20. You're right Spear. Why play here for 40 catches a year?
  21. vmax

    20-1?

The Ravens are getting a little love here...
  22. They need a North/South power runner....maybe find one in the draft. None of the old UFA's excites me....or their CAP costs. Good position to get younger at.
  23. Yea...but they throw flags on the Ravens. It was a different set of rules or interpretation in the playoffs because there was a ton of mugging and contact and no flags flying.
  24. Damn straight it looks more than suspicious now...it looks like the difference between winning and losing. He couldn't cheat and couldn't get the Refs to throw drive extending flags when somebody got near Brady. Who's the guy he cut right before the Super Bowl game? That was a no class move. A player goes 19 weeks of ass busting and then some other dude comes in for 5 days and gets his ring.
  25. Ricky did well for the Ravens. He replaced Willis...had around a 4.1 ypc...had some fun...make some money...everybody wins.
