Money Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I have a memory that lasts more than a day. I also see with clear eyes the landscape. You got quoted and are embarassed by it. LMFAO. If you fan enough shit around, something is going to stick. Zero embarrassment here. Many people way smarter than either of us thought the Ravens should tag him. You being correct about him not being tagged was an accident. Your reasoning was (and still is) extremely flawed. Quote
Money Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 BTW...do you remember this gem? Yeah you usually tag guys who are in the top 5 of their position not guys who are around 12. Moron. Quote

I am not a fan of the Ravens. Many around here were echoing the same things I was saying about Monroe. Quote
RavenMad Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I think Papa could definitely learn a thing or 2 from RavenousBG about class. I will leave it at that. Quote
RavenMad Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I don't believe at being classy. No shit Sherlock. I think we all get that. Quote
Oldschool739 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 What's the fuss over folks ?....We got the guy Ozzie wanted at a bargain price, and all of you have a valid point, none of us were spot on and almost never are.....Hey I'm good with the bargain deal but it's not like we just signed JO again.....Let's get that safety, wr and sign my boy DS before we start shooting each other....lolCome on folks it's football not brain surgery...... GrubberRaven Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) I think DS Is going for a final pay day...Denver is going for broke. Curious to see where he lands. Edited March 12, 2014 by GrubberRaven Quote

I hope we don't lose him, that D is what kept us in games last yr and he was a vital part of that.....With Kubes running the O, we will be leaps and bounds better and put up decent points, we need that D to be steady....I am never overwhelmed by a high scoring team with a weak D or visa versa, it's always been balance that makes a team a constant competitor. cravnravn Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Wrong money , maybe with Monroe a ring is more important then the money?, but if he would have hit the market, he would have recd more, Quote

cravnravn Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I don't believe that for a minute. He definitely would have IF he would u md have hit the market, but we'll never know now. IMO Danny boy down the street would have lured him, since once again they have no draftpicks Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I don't understand that first sentence. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 If he would have hit the market, I think Danny boy would of went for him. He needs protection for RG No Knee Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Monroe was on the market. Lil Danny could have signed him. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Free agency did not start til 4 pm, my text is time stamped at 4:05 that he was signed by the ravens, so no he never entertained any other offers Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 The Dolphins had their deal made. Also all 32 teams could negotiate for the 4 previous days so Danny would have made a move if he wanted him. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 This yr they had a 4 day open negotiation so it didn't make FA look like a farce. Quote
tsylvester Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 FYI, Da Raiders, only them, lost their high priced tackle, he failed his physical and is now going to sign back with the Rams.... I think this was a blessing in disguise for the Raiders, that contract was crazy...... Quote

I think this was a blessing in disguise for the Raiders, that contract was crazy...... Not a blessing. This was buyer's remorse. Saffold has already agreed to a 5-yr contract to stay with the Rams. I don't know the figures, but I'm sure it's a lot less than the Raiders' deal. Quote
Robjr83 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Makes the Monroe signing all more important... who knows if that would have impacted the negotiations Quote
