tsylvester Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Do you trade for Brandon Cooks? Maybe you just sit and draft (cause that has worked so well).... Thoughts? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 So what ravens FAs are you willing to part wth? Quote
tsylvester Posted March 3, 2017 Author Posted March 3, 2017 That question is covered in the ravens free agent thread papa.. Simple question.. Quote
vmax Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 "What do you think Steve?" Smith says Marshall would fit in well with the Ravens.“I think he would be a great fit because he’s a playmaker,” Smith said. “At the end of the day, you need playmakers. You need a lot of horses in the stable and you can never have too many playmakers on one team or one side of the ball.”.......http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/steve-smith-former-jet-brandon-marshall-would-be-a-great-fit-with-the-ravens/ Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 You can't sign new guys and sign your guys. Hell they can't even sign all their own. Really this is probably going to be a throwaway season. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 I want Pryor. I didn't know cooks was available but isn't he a small speed guy? No thanks. Quote
tsylvester Posted March 4, 2017 Author Posted March 4, 2017 Marshall would be best. Jeffries doesn't usually make it through a season without injury. Cooks would cost atleast the 16th pick pick, considering what the Titans are reportedly offering. Papa, there are ways to bring in one of them, the team is likely to drop a lot of their free agents & or over priced useless vets. Quote

They still will not be in a good place. Quote
oldno82 Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 They should have enough to sign one or two free agents. If Marshall is what they want or Garcon I think they can get them. Marshall however has a lot of domestic abuse history which may rule him out from Bisciotti's viewpoint. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Then they will let Williams and Wagner go. They also need to sign RFAs. BTW I think NO is trying to create a bidding war for Cooks. It would be a bad move to get into it. Quote
oldno82 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 From what I've read, Williams and Wagner are gone anyway. Agree about Cooks. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I think they are too. Honestly until the OL is fixed WRs are not that important. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Torrey Smith going to be a free agent, I say yes Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Torrey Smith Niners to cut veteran receiver Torrey Smith http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000790888/article/niners-to-cut-veteran-receiver-torrey-smith?campaign=fb-nf-sf60540669-sf60540669 Quote
tsylvester Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 No, no & no. He can't beat press coverage, loses in the 50-50 balls and, loses track of the ball and his balance as he tries to track the ball.... Quote
cravnravn Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 You're crazy we had our best offense with Torrey and Q. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Yeah Torrey is not the reason why the Ravens played well. Also Torrey played like crap in that best offense. That is why they let him leave. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 No they let him leave to get his payday, he got it too bad they had a terrible qb. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Torrey's worst TD production was our Superbowl year, but he put up 1100 yards recieving..Torrey along with Wallace could be a nice combo. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Might be the dumbest decision the Ravens have ever made. Quote
tsylvester Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 You're crazy we had our best offense with Torrey and Q.Go watch the all 22 tape when he was here. You will see how many passes he messed up because he was either nocked off his route or flat out couldn't find the football... Quote
varaven45 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Change of scenery; new lease on life? If price is right, maybe worth another shot ? Quote
